Come on mumsnetters please love your uggs (or similar toasty havens of comfort and warmth) and don't let me be the only one wearing them this year... Mine are ugg kensingtons in brown and they are foot heaven. I refuse to give them up.

Looks like its just you & me then MrsW. Want to come in for a warm footed cuppa? Anyone else going to join us or are we going to get expelled from the s&b boards by all you ladies with cold feet and blisters?

I'm in the lovers club.

My kensingtons are 3 years old now, and they look battered but are still comfy until it possess down with rain and the toe leaks!

I also have a pair of short suede ones which are on my feet if my kensingtons aren't!

Can't fault warm feet.

Not known for my up to the minute fashion sense. I'm unique in the way that I dress! Grin

I'm really not a fan - everyone I've seen wearing them walks funny!!! We call it the Uggly Boot Shuffle!

bishboschone · 10/11/2012 16:48

Oh every time on ugg threads someone says people in uggs walk funny!! It's only the fakes that go over to the side . My decker ( real uggs ) never do that . I have 4 pairs . My newest are ugg noira .. I love them ..

Hello chinchar pull up a chair. The ugg debate has probably been done to death already so we should probably talk about MrsWolowitz's binoculars or her leggings or other key pieces in your own unique wardrobe.

And bishbosh welcome. I trust your feet and legs are warm and happy. I agree real ones are fine for walking and kensingtons are pretty funky

I love my Uggs too. I have grey Cardy ones that DH bought me for Christmas 2009. They are still going strong.

I, also, have just bought these. They are so snuggly, I think I love them even more than my Uggs TBH!

Even my Next Ugg type boots that I bought for £30 don't go over to the side. I wear them as slippers in the house. It is the Primarini type £10 shite ones that collapse!

I'm in! I got my first ever pair of Uggs (Rommy, in chestnut) three weeks ago, and I've barely taken them off! I can't believe how wonderfully comfortable they are, like walking in clouds! My feet are warm and snug, but not hot and sweaty! I really want to get some purple Bailey Button and some black Classics next!

Walking in clouds yeah...

I nearly didn't get mine out this year as I've read too much s&b recently and people don't like them much here and now I feel Blush for having been so easily influenced. I will wear a little bit of winter heaven on my feet thank you very much you ugg naysayers and I will walk in a perfectly elegant manner too Grin especially with my lovely new coat I got from eBay for nearly nothing in mint condition GrinGrinGrin

I love mine!

I have denim look uggs and they still look brand new though I have had them over a year and wear them a lot

I'm not a fan of the classic Uggs with the completely flat sole, I always think they must be so bad for your feet to wear for any length of time, like ballet pumps. But a friend introduced me to Ugg Ultimates last year, which have a proper sole and they are blardy fantastic, I've been in them for a few weeks.

Did anyone else find that when you're wearing your Uggs in (i.e. when the inner sheepskin is still all fluffy) that your socks fall down? Took a few weeks for this to stop happening, twas odd.

Lol, mummysmellsofsick good for you! .......I'm not bothered about high fashion particularly, and as this is the first time I have been able to buy boots that cost more than £9.99, I thought I would go for warmth, practicality and something I liked, nevermind everyone else!

Good for you BreadandJam! I wanted Bailey Button ones, but thought I'd have a look at the Celtic Sheepskins. The soles are more substantial than the Uggs, and they are so snuggly, not to mention cheaper too. Celtics, also, offer a re- soling service so your boots last longer!

More people at my ugg party. I expect there would have been more of us classy and snuggly toed ladies but for the fact that my thread title makes no sense. Anyway, who cares if we are the only ugg lovers on mumsnet. Who wants to be in the majority anyway?
