Breast feeding dd2 who is five months old. And I remember this happening with dd1- bad breakouts, dark circles more visible, and just all of my skin. (More so my face) looking DULL.

I do need to up my fluid intake and eat nutritious foods more. But what more can I do?

I'm 23 but look much older I think!!

I think a good multi vitamin. I take Perfectil, which has improved my skin and hair, but check if it's okay to take whilst bf.

Other than that, I think sleeping as much as possible and eating lots of fruit and veg will help. Maybe cut down on sugar, if you eat a lot of it - I read somewhere that it is connected to looking older.

As much veg and water as you can force down your throat. Boring but v effective.

Yeah I think sugar is my downfall. Like te biscuit/ chocolate part. I'm slim and just under 9 st ( smaller than pre-preg) but I just don't FEEL healthy.

I need more water intake and nutrients.

I take breast feeding vitamins. But will look into perfectil

And really clean your skin every night before bed. Any inexpensive cleanser will do, just use it. Then slap on a moisturiser or night cream.
I know it's old hat but it really does make a difference.

Clinique 7 day scrub is very good for putting some life back in your skin.

It's pricy at £17 for a small tube but you only need to use it twice a week so it goes a very long way.

Brazil nuts are great for skin & I take a zinc supplement because its great for healing. Not sure if you can still bf while taking supplements tho?

How much are you getting out and about? I would try to get outside everyday for a walk / play with DC's - I find that my skin is better with the exercise and the fresh air helps me (and more importantly DS) sleep better which also means better skin

Second the Liz Earle hot cloth cleanser, I think the cleansing with a hot washcloth really helps my skin

We're at playgroups 3/4 times a week, and out most weekends.

I know it sounds pathetic, I just tend to forget about me whilst doing stuff for them.
