Is it broken or could it be new growth? My new growth looks tufty.
Have you recently had a baby or stopped breast feeding? I only ask because I got a few tufty fluffy new bits of growth at the front like that after I had both DCs.
My hairdresser told me that hair tends to break mid length (unless it's obviously caused by a bad bleach job or similar) so anything shorter than that tends to be new growth.I wasn't necessarily convinced by what she said, but she insisted she was right (I was fretting about wispy bits too).
