What shall I wear? Quick decision needed for tomorrow!

going into London west end tomorrow, shopping then out to dinner. Meeting dh who works in the city and will be in Friday casual. Mum of three who lives in jeans these days but used to be a city girl, hadn't thought about what to wear at all until this evening, jeans a no as my favourites have mud on them :-). Narrowed it down to two options:

Skinny black trousers, drapey grey cos top and chunky silver necklace, long black boots - smart casual
Or grey/cream wrap dress and black wool coat (old work coat) and same black boots - bit more corporate

Haven't been out in London for years, help!

Both outfits sound good but I would go for the trousers.

Think I'm erring toward them too, now just hoping both will be dry by morning as I've only just washed them! Genuinely excited though as I've just thought to look up and there's a cos on regent steet I've been trying to persuade dh that he needs to explore world of cos to update completely replace his Friday casual wardrobe Grin

Agree that both sound lovely but maybe you'll be more comfy in the trouser combo. Enjoy yourself :)

Jeans outfit sounds lovely and sufficiently dressy. I bought a new top in Cos yesterday. I love everything in there at the moment.

Enjoy your night out!

Sorry, I see they were trousers. Somehow, I read it as skinny black jeans but I guess skinny black trousers will do the same thing if they are a nice cigarette pant.

Which they are, and thankfully they've dried in time. Off to effect transformation from mum-in-fleece to glamour-puss. I may be some time!

Thanks for helping Grin
