Hallo...in the spirit of total nosy-parkeritis (and also because I have got my shopping mojo back) I want to hear how you all fared at the shops today.

For myself:

hideous prawn coloured vinyl boots for toddler's outgrowing-any-second-now feet.
"The New (?) Parka" in khaki from Gap (not sure whats new about it tbh)
A lufferly reversible soft scarf from Top Shop

Alas unsure how to create links so...can't.

Want these: (Artreau western zip boots)

www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=1&viewAllFlag=&catalogId=33057&storeId=12556&productId=6811971&langId=-1&sort_field=Relevance&categoryId=208544&parent_categoryId=208492&pageSize=20&refinements=Colour{1}~[brown]&noOfRefinements=1

But am unsure if the woodeny sole in going to be very hard for long term wear. Does anyone have them?

Link to boots here

I like the shape of them and I'm a sucker for wooden heels - but am not sure about the leather which looks a bit high-shine and a bit strangely coloured, on the pic at least.

I had an epic fail. All I wanted was some decent long sleeved tops and some thick black slouchy socks - and nowhere seems to sell either of those things.

Managed to get two (cheapie) duffel coats in one red and one black for half of what I was prepared to spend on one coat. Red for fancy, black for everyday/work :o
Also bought 4 long sleeved tops, two fleeces and a pair of red jeggings for the toddler who has grown yet again and is stretching out of her tops and pants.
Picked up stocking bits and pieces and fluffy jammies and socks for the family as we are all freezing!
Happy out with all my purchases

Fail! Went to buy lots of new work stuff, but all workwear was black (HoC Spring) and most of it had been replaced by sparkly Christmas dresses

I had a few hours to myself this afternoon and went into town. I treated myself to this Georg Jensen ring. I had wanted a bangle, but the one I liked didn't look right, but I fell in love with this when I tried it on. I wore it home, so I would say very successful!

Link to sage green top please? Our M&S seemed to have hidden all the tops in favour of horrible cheap cashmillon jumpers and nasty looking velvet things.

I went on Thursday when I was child free Grin

Got two very nice dresses from H+M, only £14.99 each. Same design different colours, nice and fitted and as a rare treat my boobs actually fit in - usually a problem in every dress I like H+M. I got one in black with a gold zip down the front, and one in a blues and greys pattern with a pewter zip. They look soo nice on and can be dressed up or down. Tried to find a link but cant see them on the website.

I also got DS 2 nice pairs of Dunlop green flash. One in black and red and one in grey and lime green, only £8 a pair.

Can you tell I go buy the rule "find nice, buy twice"?! Grin

They actually had loads of lovely longer length basic tops, and one that had zip side pockets that I wanted but now I can't find it on the website

Epic fail here.

I bought this poncho

Which to be fair to this particular poncho, is lovely as ponchos go, but it's a poncho ffs.

Back it shall go. If anyone's in the market for a poncho, give it a whirl though. It's like a lovely wine coloured blanket with armholes.

A good day. Went to Russell & Bromley and got riding boots by Aquatalia (can't find a link to them) and http://www.stuartweitzman.com/mobile/products/platswoon/?DepartmentId=159&SelectionIds=11177 black patent high heels
2 PJs from Marks and Spencers and Monsoon hat with the matching gloves for DD.

I went to the Gap "sale" and left with nothing. Saw some high rise jeans in my size for 12.99. Got very excited at getting a bargain, tried them on and realised the zip had broken.

Remus thanks for linking.
Those boots are fab in rl. The brown is chestnutty rather than red, and though shinyish, the leather is already really soft. Therein lies the problem...heavy wooden base, flimsy flappy boot part. For £75?
Need to see a review somewhere I reckon.
