Acceptable knitwear (not waterfall cardis!) for curvy girls??

Hi all, anyone seen any reasonable priced knitwear to wear with jeans/leggings for a curvy size 16? The shops are full of chunky cable knits which do nowt for me, or the ubiquitous waterfall cardigan which are flattering but even my 78 year old MIL wears them so hardly trendy. Any ideas? (Boyfriend cardigans not great for big boobs either by the way).

I'm size 12 bottom but got big boobs and I really struggle with knitwear, I don't do knitted dresses but I think boyfriend style cardigans with a nice shirt under gives you v neck shape and slims you down....I live in big all saints cardigans skinny jeans and biker boobs, I hide my boobs :)...

Monsoon has lovely knitwear this season but don't think I could get in them without looking like Jordan...good luck x

I'm a 14-16 and 5'3 (so chubby), and I've just bought thisMatalan. It looks good over a long sleeved t-shirt and skinnies and is chunky looking without being to heavy iykwim. The sleeves are bracelet length too so your wrists are on show and as my wrists are fairly slim it makes me feel smaller than I am

Im a 16 and busty and cannot find better knitwear then Mint Velvet like this and also this one Both come in a few colours, pink, grey, neutral, black. Great basic colours to which I add colour with a scarf. There are often discount codes around

I'm a 14 and big-boobies and I think layering is your answer. Big chunky knits make me all hefty loking but a long sleeve T, long-line cardi and a pashmina scarf wotsit makes me feel look alright :)

I like a batwing too. In fine knit.

Woolovers do a nice long v-neck. It doesn't look great with the polo in the photo, but I have loads and over a cami style top they are flattering to a larger chest and also hide a multitude of hip sins Grin.

Hi thanks great - have ordered one of the woolovers ones in the dark teal, along with one of their extra long ones in grey, I really like that style. Also like the mint velvet but my tummy is a bit fat for those ones that cling around the hips Blush. I also like the Matalan one, so will keep an eye out for that too.

Thanks!

Hi just to say my Woolovers cardis arrived today, the shorter one is quite nice but the long line one is REALLY nice - really flattering shape, lovely shaped sleeves, great length, and lovely wool. I definitely recommend. Here is is in [[http://www.woolovers.com/cashmere-merino/womens/charcoal/extra-long-v-neck-cardigan.aspx Charcoal]]
