Lift and shape skinny jeans? Lovely if you have a bit of a mum tum!

Accessories (hat and scarf). Home bits

High waist skinny jeans. Suede or leather ballet flats. Large lightweight scarves. Converse. That's what I buy anyway, but I shop from the directory which has more choice. Next skinny jeans are rightly highly thought of on S & B threads.

I have just bought a khaki green cable knit poncho. I like it a lot

If you don't want clothes, bedding is a good idea

I don't shop there either as a rule. But I found some lovely pyjamas.

Oh and Christmas bedding sets in brushed cotton, with reindeer.

Yes, their pjs are nice

I shop there quite a lot and have learned to spot the dross. I'd say that in the last few years they have really improved in style and quality.

Not to blow own trumpet, but when I get complemented on what I'm wearing at work, it is often Next stuff

... I use the catalogue. Their delivery and returns service is excellent as well

I had a £30 voucher and used towards a pair of black suede ankle boots.

I rarely shop in Next these days but bought a lovely crepe black dress today with chiffon sleeves and tiny jet type buttons down the back and along the cuffs.Very flattering could be dressed up or down.Think it was £38.

The assistant was wearing a lovely navy chiffon and lace blouse which looked very expensive but she told me it was £24.

If you don't live near a big branch I would suggest looking on line.

Next skinny jeans always fall down on me and a belt makes my tum even bigger!

I have an owl T shirt from there. Avoid the woolly tights. Mine lasted one wear before the waistband separated from the body. They do have some nice inexpensive household stuff-great Tea towels and mugs/glasses...Their mens underpants last longer than M&S..

MAUREEN you are not alone in thinking there has been some better stuff in Next of late. Admittedly I tend to use the directory rather than the shops.
MAUREEN I have a black cardigan from there from last year that's very similar to the jacket you link to. I wear it loads.
Nice things I have from current collection include a cord skirt, straight leg jeans, berry colour quilted coat and a black short sleeve fitted cardigan.
In store the other day, I saw a nice wine colour leather bag.

See Meg! We are right. I've been working more this year so have had less time to shop (gasp!) hence have used it.
With a discerning eye there's loads to buy.

no, not alone, as I said upthread

I just avoid anything pink or sparkly, especially things that are pink and sparkly

There is far more online than in the shops. I got a lovely black pencil skirt, a tailored grey dress and some excellent quality plain long sleeved tops for work. The berry peplum top, however, made me look like a giant walking bosom.
