I am not sure. Oh man. I never had leather trousers before. They fit quite well but will they go baggy? Leather stretches, doesn't it. Aieeeee je ne sais pas

mrspumpkinpatch Thu 01-Nov-12 18:14:20

Leather is a bit prone to going baggy at the knees and bum. Get them as snug as possible so that when they 'relax' they aren't falling off you.

Pictures though. Bet they look fab

LFCisTarkaDahl Thu 01-Nov-12 18:14:29

They cant be washed.

They are ming personified. And went out in the 80's when I had a talcum powdered Sandy type pair (and looked like an idiot honestly).

Opposite of Nike - Don't Do It !

tak1ngchances Thu 01-Nov-12 18:15:55

Eh they have come back in LFC dear.

Well, it depends, if I wore mine from my teens which are about 3 sizes too small I WOULD look mad wink

Think how nice and toasty they'll be all winter! Also edgy realness!

tak1ngchances Thu 01-Nov-12 18:26:24

The ones that are in now are v finely cut stretch leather that fit like skinny jeans. Which is what I've purchased...but being cheap I am worried they will go baggy and I'll look like I'm wearing bin liners.
I may post a picture later if I get tipsy the mood takes me

tak1ngchances Thu 01-Nov-12 18:27:20

Maybe we should all post pictures of ourselves wearing our leather trews this evening!

mrspumpkinpatch Thu 01-Nov-12 18:28:48

Sounds a bit 'Culty'......

MrsCampbellBlack Thu 01-Nov-12 18:31:12

I've got leather leggings and they're pretty tight. I noticed ASOS have got some online too for similar price to the mango ones.

tak1ngchances Thu 01-Nov-12 18:32:16

MrsCB. How tight is tight? Could you be persuaded to post a pic? I will but waist down only (Jesus that sounds dodgy)

tak1ngchances Thu 01-Nov-12 18:33:15

That whole POST sounds dodgy. Maybe leather leggings are better than leather trousers. Thinking...

LFCisTarkaDahl Thu 01-Nov-12 18:36:43

They keep coming in.

Doesn't make it right.

Do none of you have remotely sweaty nethers hmm

How can you wear something on bare skin that cant be washed !?!

tak1ngchances Thu 01-Nov-12 18:45:25

Mine are fully lined

LFCisTarkaDahl Thu 01-Nov-12 18:46:05

So you take the liking out and was that ? confused

LFCisTarkaDahl Thu 01-Nov-12 18:46:15

Wash

tak1ngchances Thu 01-Nov-12 18:51:48

Just how sweaty are you LFC? And don't you have underwear?

MrsCampbellBlack Thu 01-Nov-12 18:52:50

these

mrscumberbatch Thu 01-Nov-12 18:54:14

Lol @ chatting about sweaty nether regions on Style & Beauty.

Hopefully Thu 01-Nov-12 18:55:26

Proper leather is breathable. I'll grant that pleather may get a weeny bit on the sweaty side though.

I am currently a leather legging connoisseur, having ordered and sent back approx 5 pairs for not being perfect. I like them with a tshirt and blazer, I have decided.

blondassassin Thu 01-Nov-12 18:55:43

How long are they please? I'm 5'8" with 33" inside leg & really fancy a pair but don't want ankle skimmers. Would ideally not have black either but dark green or brown...have a feeling these do not exist under 500 pounds. hmm

tak1ngchances Thu 01-Nov-12 18:55:54

MrsCB they are gorgeous but £££. No can do. Hence the Mango purchase

Hopefully Thu 01-Nov-12 18:57:04

Blonde I can absolutely guarantee that non-black real leather definitely doesn't exist sub-£400. <bitter>

MrsCampbellBlack Thu 01-Nov-12 18:57:42

I didn't pay that much but that's the fit I like.

Hopefully how were the latest pair?

blondassassin Thu 01-Nov-12 18:59:52

I would ideally like these, but at about a third of the price!
