www.uggshop-uk.net/ugg-boots-bailey-button-chestnut-5803-p-22.html

because of the price? How do you tell by looking at them?

i would- the website looks dodgy; the only way to contact them is via a gmail address. and the grammar is a bit dodgy too, eg the wording on the "contact us" page is a bit weird.

plus, normally bone fide websites have a ".co.uk" or a ".com" address.

They are fake. Ugg Bailey buttons are never that cheap. There is somewhere online that gives you all the info on how to tell if a website is a fake, I think it might be in MoneySavingExpert.

If you want to buy Ugg style boots, Celtic Sheepskin are cheaper and better made, IMVHO, than Uggs (I have both). I have got these. I used a 20% code, I am sure there is one on here ATM, so they were even cheaper!

It's not possible to get them cheaper than about £160 is it? :( I'm skint but in my job my feet got sooooooo cold!

Fake as a fake thing - the grammar is all over the shop on that website.

I've got a couple of pairs of the fakes and they are fine, they keep my feet warm.

They are fake, the website looks pretty bad and the web address is unusual.

Fake Uggs are really not worth it, those boots wouldn't even be worth the £60 you pay for them. I have had Uggs that are on their second winter and are still looking good, have held their shape, not went down at the ankles etc. Dd was bought a pair of fake uggs, they looked pretty good, but the quality wasn't the same, they didn't feel as good inside etc. They also didn't last at all.

You would be as well buying a pair for £6 from Primark as you would be buying from that site, sorry Sad

No, I appreciate the advice Crocodile I don't mind paying a tenner for something a know is a bit ropey but don't want to pay £60/£70 for something that probably cost a five to make and will fall apart!

I don't have a link but I busted some fake uggs once using a buyers guide on eBay. In that case it was checking if the sheepskin was real by trying to pull it apart - as in real sheepskin is one layer only.
My fake uggs looked great for few weeks then went a funny colour. Was total waste of £80. My real ones look great after 3 years.

Go to TK Maxx. You might find something similar and cheaper too!

I looked in TK Maxx bags and they had a pair of hush puppies that I quite liked but not in my size. Did you get your money back crack?

Office are doing 20% off ATM, I had an email from voucher codes. So £120 which is a good price.

Diddydollydo · 31/10/2012 21:53

I still can't really afford that just now Viva. Are the Fat Face ones I linked horrible or passable do you think?

£120 was for the mini, short bailey buttons. Not the normal height ones.

The fat face ones look nice. As long as they don't do that thing that cheap, fake uggs do where they start turning inwards due to lack of support.

I was offered a return and refund by the very cross seller! I kept them but I wish I hadn't.

Recently received a pair of Uggs for DD from a reputable store (Russell and Bromley) and they came with an extra leaflet explaining how Ugg have increased their labelling to have added security features which should make it easier to spot fakes, something to do with the hologram. I guess this will be sent out with all genuine products? Hth

Ages ago I bought some Ugg-a-likes from Next. They are real suede, and cause I only take a 5 I bought children's, and cost less than£30 IIRC. I wear them as slippers now and they haven't turned inwards. They might be worth a look.

I think it's VERY dodgy, I bet they take payment & never deliver.

In their conditions it says;
Your satisfy is our aim Hmm

Bit worrying when the fuckers can't string a sentence together.

Go on Amazon and search for Bear Paws. Lovely boots, very similar to Uggs, great reviews everywhere, Third of the price.

I think the reason their grammar is so bad, is because they are (probably) based in China - their payment hosters definitely are.
