Is Head & Shoulders damaging to coloured hair?

I used Head & Shoulders for the first time ever today. I've never had dandruff so haven't bought it, but was staying at a friend's house for the night and helped myself to her Head & Shoulders shampoo & conditioner whilst in the shower this morning. And it's great! My hair is all shiny and swishy, am very impressed with the results.

So am keen to start using it regularly now, but because it's medicated do you think it'll strip the colour from my hair (I have blonde highlights)?

I know people use it to try to strip colour out of their hair if it's been dyed too dark. I'm not sure if it works though

Like coco I have heard fo people using it to strip colour.

I suffer from dandruff and use it and my colour does seem to fade quickly although my hair grows so quickly that I have to colour ever 3/4 weeks so it is not such a big problem for me

Oh didn't read whole post sorry Blush it may still strip colour but if it's really light you probably won't notice.

Ime no not at all but I find L'oreal better for clearing a flaky scalp. I think originally way back when H and S used to be very harsh.

I have seen H&S for coloured hair. In a shampoo emergency I once had to wash my hair in Fairy Liquid, my hair was shiny and silky soft Shock

I use it weekly to deep clean my hair - also blonde highlighted - and it leaves it super soft and swishy, and a bit lighter too.

Can't use it daily though, too harsh. I use silicones and coconut oil to keep it soft and smooth all week.

I use the one for coloured hair, stops me getting an itchy flaky scalp.
