Went for dinner with a v trendy friend last night. She had the World's Best Trousers on. They were skinny cut softest finest leather but she paid ££££ for them in Zadig & Voltaire in Paris.
I am now obsessed with getting some leather skinny trews. Zara has sold out. Everywhere seems to have sold out in my size. HELP. Am I too late, was everyone else on the leather skinny bandwagon since August?

I had a leather look pair last winter loved them although more like leggings. Everyone admired and thought were real. Jane Norman £20 the shame!

Ok noddy I'll level with you. I'm worried that pleather will be sweaty in The Area. Did that happen to you <question of a personal nature, apols>

No they were fine. Zara have some real and fake. Indon't wear enough to pay ££££

arf at The Area.

I want some too - I had some pleather leggings last year but too cheap and want some decent ones now.

Zara are all sold out, that's the problem. They were around the 200 mark I think which is just about acceptable if I give up some other vices for a while...

Curse you all and your ability to wear black. I loathe black, and it looks shit on me. Have you tried to find leather leggings for under £300 in not-black?

MoomieAndFreddie Sun 28-Oct-12 18:38:47

I LOVE them too, have seen them on women looking amazing. I have a pair but have never worn them as i dont know what top would one wear with them??

noddyholder Sun 28-Oct-12 18:42:17

Fine knits and loose linen t shirts? I have a fakey leggings pair which also look good with big jumpers

Avenue57 Sun 28-Oct-12 18:52:43

H&M and have the best ones again this year - you must go in and buy - ranging from £14.99 to £24.99 - I'm buying some (more) tomorrow!

MoomieAndFreddie Sun 28-Oct-12 18:54:00

hmmm yeah that could work noddy, would you wear anything underneath the top?

monstersX2 Sun 28-Oct-12 19:12:38

I would really love a pair but daren't. Can i ask those of you who have them, in inches, how big are your thighs??

MaureenCognito Sun 28-Oct-12 19:15:05

lol you should see my new look newton bomb trousers - 6 quid as yet unworn

tak1ngchances Sun 28-Oct-12 20:17:39

The girl last night was wearing them with a grey jersey t-shirt and a slouchy black cashmere jumper. And sky high ankle boots. All v cool? I think they look better with casual slouchy stuff rather than fancy/dressed up things which can go tarty cheap v quickly

Caerlaverock Sun 28-Oct-12 20:41:07

I am 40

tak1ngchances Sun 28-Oct-12 20:56:22

You are not too old. That's ridiculous. Tell him he has no clue what he's talking about
