Purple Evening/Bridesmaid/Prom Dress - Where From Please ???

Would any of you recognise ?

THIS DRESS

Someone I know is getting married, wants these or very similar as her bridemaids dresses & has asked me if I know where she could get it from, or if I could perhaps make them - she mentioned shock at £175 for dresses she had seen that she quite liked, which makes me realise that by the time I've cut patterns, sourced cloth, making etc etc, is very unlikely to fit into her budget, even with the discount I would have given as I know her - but as I like her I am trying to help her out & either find the dress, or find a ready made sewing pattern that can be adapted & point her in the direction of a cheaper seamstress.

So I would be grateful if anyone has seen this or a pattern, or a similar purple dress could point me in the right direction

TIA :)

It's a very small photo so hard to see, but might this style work? IIRC they can be worn like that. For patterns search infinity dress or transformable dress, mind you I'm not sure you could make them much cheaper than they are there.

Thank You, both of you, I am going to pass them on to her ;)

& yes, I know its a small photo, it was tiny as it was sent to me, I couldn't see a thing on it, but I managed to blow it up a bit, but still not good.

I have found a basic 1 shoulder pattern that could be adapted & passed that onto her too with the suggestion of using a seamstress if she can't find the actual dress - but I doubt very much if she can get it made as cheaply as she wants/needs it - thats why I'm not making them myself, just not worth my while & I'd be embarrassed to even quote itbased on her complaints about off the peg prices - had it been the wedding gown too I may have taken it on at a reduced price as a favour & seen it as a promotion job, but that won't work for just the bridesmaids dresses.

I had thought of China, but know of a few horror stories & I've had to mop up the mess on a couple that came in late & small, but that link looks pretty good & ebay at least has some come back & at that price might be worth taking a risk on them - Thanks again :)

Or maybe not, just found the price on the adjustable dress - great idea, I bet her bridesmaids would LOVE that one, but its £250, so sadly no good :(

Yeah, but the BHS purple one (link above) is exactly the same style as twobirds and 80 quid.

The good news - Here you are The exact dress from your original post.
It's by Dessy, which are sold in lots of different bridal shops.

The bad news - it's £249

Brilliant - Thank you Taking - out of her budget - but at least I can get a better look at it now & she also only had the tiny photo I sent, so your link will help her if she goes down the getting it made from the pattern info I sent her - THANKS :)
