Help me! I'm 7 1/2 months pregnant and constantly roasting. I'm sweating through all my tops and dresses, which is terribly dignified at work Hmm

I've tried Mitchum and triple dry, dove super strength or whatever it is, and the sure super dry and nothing is working. I've never had this problem before. My armpits are actually wet in the morning

What can I use that will dry me up?

I have hyperhydrosis and use Driclor. It's only about a fiver for a bottle and lasts for ages. It's very effective. I'm not sure whether it's suitable for use during pregnancy though so have a check first! HTH Smile

No advice, but watching with interest - am 7 months pregnant and exactly the same! Sad

I know this will probably be completely and utterly ignored, but I was persuaded (after I went on maternity leave - was too scared and sweaty before!) to ditch anti-perspirant entirely and switch to pit rok. There was about a week of being at least a sweaty as I was before, then I just almost entirely stopped sweating. It was magic, I tell you.

I think that the anti-perspirants had somehow screwed up my own response to the hormones or whatever makes you sweat . 4 years later and I haven't looked back, never used anything but pit rok since.

Use Nonchalante underarm pads. I'm not pregnant but my armpits are always wet and this helps me. At least wet patches are not showing on my shirt.

I find I am really sensitive to deoderant especially some of the intensive ones.

I had this for a bit during this pregnancy when I reverted to using antiperspirant spray again (Dove I think it was) and what helped was using one of the mineral salt stick ones (can't remember the name - something to do with crystals) or PitRock spray. And wearing less. I don't feel the cold anyway but even now the weather is changing start with a sleeveless layer with a thin layer as a first option if it gets cold. People do look at me weirdly though and I wish I had ?1 for every time I've patted my belly and said, "Carrying my own personal hot water bottle!"

I have sensitive armpits and I don't use any of the strong antiperspirants. They itch like hell. I do sweat underarm and it doesn't matter if it's winter or summer, it's always there and I'm sure there is a lot to do with a hormons, especially when pregnant. I tend to sweat more a few days before period.

Another underarm pads user here. Very mild natural crystal deodorant ( from H&B) and nonchalante pads does the trick for me.

Just wanted to say thank you for all the suggestions. I got pit rock ... my life is transformed!! I am seriously shocked at how good it is.

Weird how it can be so good isn't it? I first used when very anxious about my recurrent miscarriages and doing endless, probably mostly duff, research about anything at all that might increase my risk. I don't even know why I kept my old bottles of anti-perspirants - probably my inherent stinginess. Whenever I use them now I regret it after a few days.

Where do you get it from??!!!

It is crazy how good it is. It literally dried me up the day I started using it.

valium - I got it from boots!

Thanks will get some tomorrow -I'm peri menopausal and need to use Mitchum but if this is better, I'll give it a go!

Definitely worth a try - I have definitely been converted. I've been sweating through my tops even if it was only a vest, since I've been pregnant this time around, and I have not a hint of whiff or sweat.
