I really like this necklace. Am I going to horrify one of my clients if they turn out to have a secret bug phobia? I'm an image consultant/stylist, so I'm allowed to look interesting, but I'm wondering if this might be a bit much. Thoughts?
I would think you were a bit too out there for mr to trust to consult with me but some people might like a quirky edge. I think with clients you want to be as inoffensive as possible to apeal to as many pepole as possible.
I disagree. I would instinctively have no faith in a stylist who showed no personality and just wore bland inoffensive clothing. What would she be able to do for me if she didn't even have a keen idea of her own style. That necklace is perfect for you hopefully - will look nice with your new ring ;)
It's a difficult balance to strike - my natural style is a bit more dramatic than some people can take, but then I can't tone it down into nothing, or I would have no style left! I haven't had anyone too visibly alarmed yet
Necklace is great Hopefully the woman who did my colours dressed very blandly (sp) but my stylist who took me for my shopping day was much more adventurous and I felt as though she would push me to be a little more adventurous as a result (and she did) Nothing to be alarmed at at all!
