Is she seriously hoping for customers?!

LettyAshton Fri 19-Oct-12 17:44:43

By the way, meant to say look at the other items... particularly the green top.

Peggotty Fri 19-Oct-12 17:48:44

Er. Am I missing something? Not to my taste or anything but what's actually wrong with them - is it because she's wearing them?

MrsHowardRoark Fri 19-Oct-12 17:49:57

The picture of the harem pants made me laugh.

Now I feel bad for laughing.

She must think this is the best way to show the clothes off. It really, really isn't.

ChippyMinton Fri 19-Oct-12 17:53:39

You mean the sexy harem pants?

Bless her, she's newbie doing her best.
The shirt dress and the studded blouse are my favourites.

dexter73 Fri 19-Oct-12 17:59:11

This is why I always just photograph my stuff on a hanger.

ChippyMinton Fri 19-Oct-12 18:01:45

She drew the line at modelling the man's shirt.

SuePurblybilt Fri 19-Oct-12 18:08:17

Is it the way she's standing? She is making them all look boxy and about three sizes bigger somehow.
Poor woman. I hope she doesn't have the view counter thing grin

KennethParcell Fri 19-Oct-12 18:12:15

I think she's more like size 12 than size 8 but apart from that I don't see what 's funny confused

HyvaPaiva Fri 19-Oct-12 18:27:35

I don't get it confused

pumpkinsweetie Fri 19-Oct-12 18:34:17

Very original way of advertising clotheshmm

VivaLeBeaver Fri 19-Oct-12 18:38:55

None of the clothes suit her, probably why she's getting rid. But as they don't suit her then by modelling them she makes the clothes look bad. Actually they are bad, but they'd look better not on her, a bit better.

VivaLeBeaver Fri 19-Oct-12 18:39:39

And she must be fairly slim if she's getting in the clothes but in the size 10 Wallis dress she looks about a size 18.

justasecond Fri 19-Oct-12 22:34:19

I have noticed quite a few people are 'modelling' stuff they are selling on ebay these days. It never looks good and actually puts me off seeing other people wearing it especially when it is supposed to be new.

CuriousMama Fri 19-Oct-12 22:39:18

Maybe she thinks a load of horny blokes who buy used shoes will view and buy from her? wink

I hope she does ok. Sadly these threads can end up with mners bidding on stuff they don't intend to buy just to wind up sellers. Horrid but true. They have false accounts set up.

Marzipanface Fri 19-Oct-12 22:41:35

What is the problem please OP?

QueenieLovesEels Sat 20-Oct-12 10:07:12

Letty are you pinkladyno2?!?

Can't see any other motive for posting.........

Frontpaw Sat 20-Oct-12 10:09:22

Holy crimes against fashion!

mumof3teens Sat 20-Oct-12 11:41:18

The stunning green silk top has a bid on it shock

HeinousHecate Sat 20-Oct-12 11:43:30

What's the matter with it?

QuinnFabray Sat 20-Oct-12 12:12:22

Are you bitching for the sake of it? It all looks fine to me. Not saying I'd buy any of it, but I've seen far far worse.

mirry2 Sat 20-Oct-12 12:15:25

What's the problem?

plutocrap Sat 20-Oct-12 12:25:27

Is it that the pictures got stretched, rather than her having ticked "preserve aspect ratio"?

Very bitchy thread idea!

SalmonRusty Sat 20-Oct-12 12:30:48

I think she's done really well! You can see what the clothes genuinely look like. Better than a dark photo of a manky looking jumper crumpled on the bed like most eBay pics hmm

SalmonRusty Sat 20-Oct-12 12:32:01

But god forbid there being a photo of someone who doesn't look like a model on the internet...
