By the way, meant to say look at the other items... particularly the green top.

Er. Am I missing something? Not to my taste or anything but what's actually wrong with them - is it because she's wearing them?

The picture of the harem pants made me laugh.

Now I feel bad for laughing.

She must think this is the best way to show the clothes off. It really, really isn't.

You mean the sexy harem pants?

Bless her, she's newbie doing her best.
The shirt dress and the studded blouse are my favourites.

This is why I always just photograph my stuff on a hanger.

She drew the line at modelling the man's shirt.

Is it the way she's standing? She is making them all look boxy and about three sizes bigger somehow.
Poor woman. I hope she doesn't have the view counter thing Grin

I think she's more like size 12 than size 8 but apart from that I don't see what 's funny Confused

Very original way of advertising clothesHmm

VivaLeBeaver · 19/10/2012 18:38

None of the clothes suit her, probably why she's getting rid. But as they don't suit her then by modelling them she makes the clothes look bad. Actually they are bad, but they'd look better not on her, a bit better.

Report
VivaLeBeaver · 19/10/2012 18:39

And she must be fairly slim if she's getting in the clothes but in the size 10 Wallis dress she looks about a size 18.

I have noticed quite a few people are 'modelling' stuff they are selling on ebay these days. It never looks good and actually puts me off seeing other people wearing it especially when it is supposed to be new.

CuriousMama · 19/10/2012 22:39

Maybe she thinks a load of horny blokes who buy used shoes will view and buy from her? Wink

I hope she does ok. Sadly these threads can end up with mners bidding on stuff they don't intend to buy just to wind up sellers. Horrid but true. They have false accounts set up.

What's the matter with it?

Report
QuinnFabray · 20/10/2012 12:12

Are you bitching for the sake of it? It all looks fine to me. Not saying I'd buy any of it, but I've seen far far worse.

Report
mirry2 · 20/10/2012 12:15

What's the problem?

Report
plutocrap · 20/10/2012 12:25

Is it that the pictures got stretched, rather than her having ticked "preserve aspect ratio"?

Very bitchy thread idea!

I think she's done really well! You can see what the clothes genuinely look like. Better than a dark photo of a manky looking jumper crumpled on the bed like most eBay pics Hmm

Report
SalmonRusty · 20/10/2012 12:32

But god forbid there being a photo of someone who doesn't look like a model on the internet...

Are you the seller OP, hoping to draw some attention to your auctions? Grin
