I have looked everywhere . All anorak type things are hip length . I am size 6-8 hourglass and I would like it to be fitted otherwise I look square . Budget up to £300 but would really rather not as its just for walking to school.

I don't know if you mean above knee or below as I currently have baby brain but the Craghoppers Nariko jacket is nice and is above knee and below hip.

Funnily enough I have seen that one online . Is it nice in real life ?

bishboschone Fri 19-Oct-12 18:34:13

I mean mid thigh so above the knee and I'm short so I think that may be a bit long .

I have the Craghoppers Nariko in Cocoa and I like it - although would prefer if the hood folded in somewhere instead of zipping off. I haven't seen the blue/purple one in RL, sorry. I am 5'6" and it hits my knees so that might be too long for you.

bishboschone Fri 19-Oct-12 19:30:27

Thabks . I think it will be too long .i am little .. 5 ft ! Keep looking .

I have the sea salt coat it is mid thigh length on me and I am 5'6". It is snuggly and very waterproof. Comes in grey, blue or navy and about £120. Also not heavy to wear. I hate it when coats weigh me down.

bishboschone Fri 19-Oct-12 20:06:11

Which sea salt one ? Please

Craghopper Haddenbury in dark purple or Merrell Wakefield insulated (or not) in ink heather or Land's End stadium squall in blackberry or deep blue?

I tried on the merrell today . It liked distinctly old lady on me . I am super curvy and it did me no favours .

Is that Boden really fitted ?? It looks like it may drown me . What's the sizing like please ?

uberalice Fri 19-Oct-12 21:38:46

As SchmaltzingMatilda said, the Boden Cosy Parka, but be warned that the navy version looks almost black in RL. I still like it though.

I've said it once, I'll say it again - Ilse Jacobsen.

That's nice don't laugh. Can't see a price or where to buy / look at it though.

dontlaugh Fri 19-Oct-12 21:58:29

Hmm, there was a bit about stockists in each country somewhere on the site, they are about £170 or so, I am 5'3 and size 8 and perfect fitted fit, waterproof, I love mine. Can you tell? grin. here's a site with prices, but havent used it here
