I need to get this necklace asap. It is 5mm width and 46cm or 18" length. I have searched online but have had no luck...I am not even sure if the chain is Byzantine style or something else. Please help if you can!!

(You've probably guessed, this necklace was a gift and I lost it Sad. The photo is of a sibling's necklace...we were given the same. Sad

Picture on my profile.

No-one can help without you making your pictures public.

Yup, not viewable by mumsnetters.

Is it a heavy interwoven chain link? That's what Byzantine is.

Sorry...will try and make them public right now.

Yes, looks like one I saw in the Argos catalogue (not trying to be rude, sorry if its posher) - can't link on my phone, will go and have a look.

I don't mind where it's from as long as it's the same...thank you LFC (fingers crossed)...

It's called a Gold anchor chain on the website.

Thank you but the one I have lost is silver...sorry if it's not clear in the photo. I've looked at the chains on Argos online and can't see it. Although I don't know exactly where it came from, it was likely to be a decent jeweller...thank you anyway.

I think it might be the multilink chain- although it's a bad picture on this link.

The multilink chain is closer, but mine did not separate like that one does, if that makes sense.

I can't believe this is so hard! I really don't know what else to do, short of taking the remaining necklace to a jeweller and asking them to copy it. Goodness knows how much that would cost. Oh dear Sad I hate losing things and I hardly ever, ever do it! (Moan emoticon).

The catch on this one is different but the necklace looks similar?
