I like the pots of gel liner - over priced but you can get them ..ahem.. elsewhere so a lot cheaper Wink - so doesn't matter too much when they dry out.

The lip glosses are ok I suppose - but all the same colour really.Hmm

I was convinced by a friend that the new gel liners are fabulous and the really stay put. Errr no, tbh the Avon one is just as good and I prefer the colours, certainly not worth the £17 they cost and I have just wasted half the bloody pencil as you need to sharpen it every time you use it as it's so soft.

I love make up but I stand at the BB counter totally uninspired as everything looks the same colour!

Prepares to be flamed Grin

Well I think ALL GEL LINERS ARE BOLLIX

There, I said it.

You get like, three exquisite applications, then the next time you go back you've got a hard little poo-coloured marble rattling around the glass jar. RUBBISHNESS.

I have no opinion on BB so I am going to take yours. Thanks.

The shimmer brick is good. Gel eyeliners I like but I think I got them cheaper on QVC.

Oh God - don't get me started on those shimmer bricks because I'll end up offending you Grin

I have always disregarded BB as I thought it all looked so bla and 90s.

But - those gel liners have won me over. I had a loreal one for about a year but the BB one is far better (hasn't dried out either).

But the rest of the stuff - not very inspiring.

I agree re BB looking blah and 90s. Laura mercier do neutrals and I like them much more.

Get have you ever used Estee Lauder double wear liners? - they are far superior imo and I happily part with my £15 for them!

What the double wear kohl pencils? Yes they are brilliant - they last for ages and the only non scratchy kohl pencil I have found. But I prefer the gel liner for swoopy eyeliner, the kohl is more smudgy iyswim.

I am not a fan of estee lauder either but really like those dw pencils.

I'm not a fan either, I hate their foundations but like the dw liners.

I quite like the theory of good basics, lots of yellow bases, etc. But in practice I hate the formulas and also there is far too much muddy bricky brown colour in the range (ie it is blah and 90s)

shimmer brick is soooo glittery

the bronzers are pants

the lipsticks are really drying and the glosses too

the eyeshadows are OK but MAC is better textured and far better pigmented

the blushers are pretty good but MAC again miles better

I don't like any of their foundation textures but that is a v personal thing I guess

powders settle into pores

You only have to look at Alison Young on QVC to know the shimmer bricks are a terrible idea - bless her!

oh I DO like one eyeshadow, it is called Grey but is more taupey really, it is fabulous (MAC copperplate is a good dupe but you can apply the BB one as more of a wash because less pigmented and then build it up to quite intense if you want)

I bought a No 17 shimmer brick thing, jesus looked like I was going to a disco. Listening to Ace of Base.

Agree Laura Mercier neutrals far better.

Very patronising sales assistant as well (BB).

BB foundation suits me much much better than any other i have used. And i have tried alot. The colours of the foundations suit me and the consistency. Mac either to pink or the yellow to chalky. Prefer Mac bronzer to BB simply because the colour suits me better. Bobbi's BB cream is second to none. Eyeshadows i always buy BB because i get discount. i like the eyeshadows and are on a par with Mac imo, sometimes Mac colours can be a bit too much for me. The gel eyeliners i cant comment on any others as i have only ever used bb. I did try Stila smudge pot but it was too crumbly. I am interested in trying Estee Lauders dw Khol pencils.

YOU ARE ALL UTTER BASTARDS.

BB gel liners are the business - chocolate shimmer gel liner in partic is ossom. Do em up tightly and they don't dry up and last foreverererer.

Shimmer brick of a soir is lovely if used sparingly - again, lasts everererer. Don't apply like blusher fgs, just a light sweep applied where light hits and BOOM youthful face is mine DAMN YOU.

I have a shimmer brick for eyes too and I LOVE IT.

Pot Rouge is FAB

Sheer Blush in a tube is FAB

The gel eyeliner in forest green (or whatever it is called) is brilliant, a really flattering colour (doesn't look green iyswim).

I actually don't mind the pots and you must have to be really back handed if you can't manage a quick sweep of a brush, it's the pencils that annoy me - waste of money keep having to sharpening them all the time ad they aren't easier than using a brush!
