Remember the mumsnet scarf?

The leopard print one off eBay? Can anyone find me something similar in either bird print or butterfly print? I like the size of the original one - it's massive and pretty warm.

I've been trying to find something similar to the Mulberry one that Kat wears in the Doesmybumlook40 blog. Without the cost!

I saw Kat's yesterday and wanted it before realising it was Mulberry. Can not afford Mulberry but loved it. Interested to see what people can find.

Or maybe I won't get it as it's listed as Primark.

But I'd rather just click and have it turn up at my house than have to actually go to Primark.

I have the scarf Trills calls 'a blue one' and it's gorgeous! Really big and vivid colours - have had lots of compliments when wearing it.

Oooh, the blue one also comes in pink/purple. :)

Thanks for the links they're all nice but some look a bit flimsy and short. Dexter I like yours the best, can you let me know how thick it is?

The fabric is quite thin, but the scarf is quite wide.

Thanks, think that's the one!

this is like Dexters and is a complete rip off heavily influenced by a Marc Jacobs scarf I have Grin

I now have the one that I ordered and it is very nice, very thin material so it can be a good "indoor" scarf. :)

WipsGlitter · 17/10/2012 19:54

Are there any in thicker material?

curlyLJ · 17/10/2012 19:55

I saw this one in Fat face which is quite nice...?

I bought the bird scarf Julia linked to, in grey. It's nice (I like the bird print), but not great and I'd like it to be a bit longer.

Can anyone suggest a similarly bargainous-priced scarf that's as long as the 2011 Mumsnet leopard-print one?

I've got this one... It's absolutely beautiful, had loads of compliments on it. Not cheap but, with 25% off with the code Halloween1 it's more reasonable. Big enough to wear as a wrap at my desk at work if it's cold. Absolutely love it...

oh god janey I love love love that scarf! How thick is the material? If you say fairly thick I'm buying it.

Report
janey1234 · 26/10/2012 12:52

It is fairly thick - like a say has been keeping me warm at work when the air con has gone nuts - but not so thick that it hangs awkwardly or isn't soft to touch. It is by far my favourite scarf at the moment - can't take it off! Oh, and it seems to go with EVERYTHING too...
