Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua

I've been happily using Vitalumiere since last year and went to restock. They seem to have changed their colours (not a huge problem, look very much the same as before) but the consistency of the product seems so watery.

Has anyone else found similar? Also the one I bought months ago had a thing inside that helped mix it up and rattled when I shook it but the new one doesn't seem to do the same and I am getting a sort of split, watery mess and the coverage is not as good.

Have I got a duff one or is it shit now they've changed it?

I was a big fan of Vitalumiere and recently bought the new compact foundation called Vitalumiere Hydra. Sad It's utter rubbish. It gives hardly any coverage and even the thinnest layer becomes clumpy as the day goes on, making my face look scaly. Disgusting stuff, massive waste of money. I'm gutted because I gave away my Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum to a friend when I bought the Chanel and now I'll need to restock my Bourjois. It, on the other hand, is just gorgeous and 1/3 of the price of Chanel.

You must have a dud. Mine has the rattly thing to help mix it up. SA made a big song and dance about shaking it well before use.

I like mine well enough, but don't LOVE it. I'm going to try the YSL touché éclat one next

I have used Vitalumiere for years - a big fan and would go without other things to buy it when I was hard up - - that's how much I loved it - - - - - until I really couldn't afford it last week and bought a quick fix cheapie Barbara Daly Moisture Foundation ( dare I say it - from Tesco [sshh] ) and found it to be well amazing! Good coverage, light, a dewy finish and not giving a caked on made up look -- all for under £10.00! - I'm converted and what a huge saving!

I'll have another look at it today and take it back if it's not quite right. It has something in it to mix but not as rattle-y as the last one.

Thank you for the alternative suggestions. I'll have a think about what to try next.
