I've bought a long sleeved black layering t shirt from H&M, a black and white Breton also from H&M and an animal print jumper from Whistles which is ---bet lynch i fear or really subtly sexy and stylish...--lying on my bed while I decide if I'll keep it. Bought them all because apart from the Breton ( of which I have about a dozen) I don't have anything like them.

What have you bought recently and why?

The navy blue knitted Asos dress linked to in here the other week
A royal blue and jade knitted dress from Asos in the Sale.
9 pairs of Opaque tights in various colours from M&S.

I bought them because all my tights are baggy, and I love knitted dresses because they are warm and stylish.

Hmm bought a load of stuff in the sale in New Look last week. Cause they were cheap.

A pair of biker ankle boots from M&S. I'm a sucker for boots.

A pair of black skinnies from Miss Selfridge. My niece nicked off with my original pair.

faustina Thu 11-Oct-12 21:26:11

AmberNectarine - it is perfect. Really neat fit, light as a feather, doesn't make me look like the michelin man.... I got the black one, with the navy/wine inside. Which colour are you thinking about?

eagerbeagle Thu 11-Oct-12 21:36:47

PUG Doris top in black. I have in red too and it is amazing on.

Reiss black trouser work suit for serious type meetings. Not exciting but nicely tailored.

DKNY Cozy in black from the outlet. It looked snug to wear over dresses for drafty office.

Just realised all these are black clothes. I do wear other colours. Honest.

Had a bit of a splurge this week so everything arrived today

APC navy wool blazer - love it, looks fantastic on.

Then because My Wardrobe were doing a £100 of code with a £350 spend topped it up with a few bits of American Vintage jersey, black vest, wine coloured long sleeved T & wine coloured slouch v neck T, will be great for AW layering.

& because I'd bought the blazer I felt a desperate urge to get a new jumper & shirt to go with it so got a light grey silk shirt

& an oatmeal cashmere v-neck.

Both of which are lovely & I'm very pleased with.

Then bought some Current/Elliot flares from Outnet too because I'm a bit bored with skinnies, fancied a change & thought they'd look great with my new jacket & a high tan boot (they do).

Also four new pairs of Falke cotton touch because I stock up every year.

Have had a lovely afternoon prancing around in front of the mirror.

Oh & I bought the blazer because I'd been having a bit of a lust then got the voucher code so it seemed rude not to...

clarks boots for everyday with jeans and because I had a 20% discount voucher
phase eight black top just because it was reduced and just the kind of simple top I like to wear on non work days
pied a terre dress in midnight for my birthday party

Ohh, love the dress Chewbacca - midnight is definitely the best colour too <starts wondering if she can justify any more purchasing this month...>.

Chewbecca Thu 11-Oct-12 22:43:17

It is a fab dress, quite heavy fabric so hangs beautifully, really flattering. There's a long sleeve version too...

Catrin Thu 11-Oct-12 23:01:56

Purple uniqlo skinny cords, because am sick of jeans, jeans, jeans.
Thin knit grey jumper, uniqlo
Black leather biker jacket, Whistles. Replaces my beloved one of my youth and it is just gorgeous.

Three boys long sleeve thermal tops from M&S...*for me!* For layering in winter. They were £12 for three.

I happened to be buying for DD, saw they go up quite large for older girls but the colours were too pastel so opted for boys instead. Navy, white and a nice blue. Nicer than any other thermals I've seem so am very happy!!

cerealqueen Thu 11-Oct-12 23:29:40

Bit I wish I was buying that dress chewbacca !!

eagerbeagle Fri 12-Oct-12 08:00:30

SaraBellumHertz Fri 12-Oct-12 08:18:50
