M&S online delivery - so disappointed - anyone else?

it has taken 10 working days for the order to arrive

There are about 10 items, and I have to return over half due to items being nothing like the website photo, or poor quality.

I just dont think I can 'trust' them with another order!

Annoyed!

Utterly rubbish. Missed delivering a guaranteed delivery for my grandmother's 80th ( I was out of the country)

I've not had an issue with delivery but I've never had a delivery to my home , I've always opted to have it delivered to my local M&S food store which is just up the road. Delivery to there is free and you select the day you want - usually anything from 3 days after ordering. Occasionally I've popped in the day before to see if its already been delivered, and it has.

Perhaps their delivery to store is more reliable if that us an option for the future.

Totally agree though that the website photos are shocking and that things often look different in real life. Plus their sizing is hit or miss which drives me a bit insane.

Like SJ, I use the store delivery method and have had no problems.

The sizing issue has put me off ordering from them online again though. I bought two pairs of jeggings from them, different types, in the same size. One fitted perfectly, the other was way too tight and way too long!

Their stock issues are awful. Three time recently I've ordered, paid, had confirmation only to learn (one time almost a week later) that over half my orders were out of stock.

thanks all

I'm reassured to know I'm not the only one out there wishing I had just trekked to the actual shop, to probably find low stock in my relevant sizes anyway

had hoped to save petrol, sanity, energy by ordering online!!

just an utter bloody waste of my time online, ordering, waiting and waiting

I work from home, so It's not as though I wasnt around to collect the delivery

I'm starting a thread now in Christmas section about reliable online stores, hoping to make xmas shopping easier, dont want to rely on Amazon (who are brilliant and quick) all the time

I had a horrendous experience with them in 2010.
Tried them again last year and again it was a disaster.

The only time I order online now is when I know I'm going to the store anyway, so I order online several days before and have it delivered to the store. If I want to return whatever I've ordered, I'm on the spot to do so.

Agree about Amazon - they've only messed up twice for me in the 12 years that I've been a customer. I order probably two or three items a month. (I wish they had a loyalty scheme Grin). And when they do mess up they put it right very quickly.

Agree about Amazon, they are impeccable. I've ordered with them for years now and only had one problem with them which was last week. I say with them, but it wasn't Anaxon per se, it was bloody Yodel who supposedly left the package in my 'secure front porch'. I don't have a porch and if it was secure then I wouldn't be leaving it open for anyone to wander into anyway.

After 15 mins on the phone waiting to be connected to Yodel 'customer' service, I gave up. Phoned Amazon who immediately said they would contact Yodel, and organised a replacement item to be sent out the next day free of charge. Excellent service, I didn't even pay for the phonecall as they phoned me! No idea what happened to the orig package, either the Yodel driver got himself an early Xmas present or it was left in plain view for all to see and someone helped themselves. My only grumble in relation to Amazon us that I wish they didn't use Yodel, which I believe us a common plea from their customers.

wow, SJ47, that is wonderful how Amazon rectified that for you.

My other thread is telling me John Lewis are reliable, so I'll have a look there too
