wow, sounds like I need some of that! Which 'stuff' was it in particular?

Eggrules Fri 28-Sep-12 14:16:40

I need to know too, please.

JodieHarsh Fri 28-Sep-12 14:24:35

Oh hello!

It's just the Body Shop Aloe Vera Soothing face stuff. Nowt fancy, nowt spendy.

My face was a mess, I tell you, a mess. And nothing has ever really helped it. I was despairing. And 4 days of this stuff and it's calming down.

Bear in mind that my problems relate to sensitive skin (hence redness and scarring and whatnot) so that's why it's ideal for me - if problems lie elsewhere it might not be quite the panacea I'm making it sound!

By stuff I mean cleanser, toner, moisturiser, night cream (I got a little starter kit thingy)

Pinot Fri 28-Sep-12 15:00:41

It was val! valiumredhead over 'ere chick!

JodieHarsh Fri 28-Sep-12 15:04:14

Hello Pinot darling, how are you?!

I have to have some PHOTOS done soon and by heck I might not have a face like a pizza by the time I get in front of the lens. MWAH MWAH BLOODY MMWAH

Pinot Fri 28-Sep-12 15:08:44

I've sent out the bat call PM'd her grin

Jodie and Val - two of my trilogy of fave S&B posters. All I need is ggirl on this thread and I will implode in S&B glitterfabulousness.

FWIW I havent tried BS Aloe yet. But I'm-a-gonna!

An image has positively SURGED into my head of we 3 as Pink Ladies blush <-------evidence of not having been in The Kewl Gang at school.

You must try it. It's really nice having a treat that is so cheaptastic unlike the massive ponkyskin tote what I just done bought

JodieHarsh Fri 28-Sep-12 15:13:38

It's not real ponyskin mind you! <hasty>

It's rawhide. Or summat.

Pinot Fri 28-Sep-12 15:21:54

ponkyskin grin

Nice though, eh? I've got a luvverly LK Bennett bag for Christmas stashed away. I keep opening the cupboard and sniffing it. Leather innit. Totally impractical go-with-nowt purple leather.

Oh and YES to the Pink Ladies. Bagsy not being Rizzo.

LoveMyBoots Fri 28-Sep-12 15:38:22

Do the Body Shop do starter kits? I want to try their stuff, but don't want to commit to something that might not work for my skin.

TerraNotSoFirma Fri 28-Sep-12 15:51:25

Very happy about your skin Jodie, but wouldn't mind a peek at this pony skin/rawhide bag.
Would you post a link? smile

JodieHarsh Fri 28-Sep-12 16:33:18

Yes they do a starter kit - that's hat I use after bitter experience taught me out to invest in skincare until I am sure it's not going to blow my face off!

Am on me tablet wotsit so a bit link limited but basically look for a massive and completely plain tote in the John Lewis Weekend comes in black and bright pink!

JodieHarsh Fri 28-Sep-12 16:33:39

What not hat

Used not use!

Mintyy Fri 28-Sep-12 16:37:57

It might have been me? Its cured my sensitive skin. And all for only about £7 a pot. Marvellous.
