Best parka ?

Looking for a parka - any suggestions where to find a nice one?

I like the look of this

although perhaps just a little longer would be better?

If possible - in light of current weather - waterproof would be ideal (although nothing even vaguely shiney!)

Would appreciate any suggestions... many thanks!!!

I have one from Oasis, sorry not sure how to link on my phone. It is called black quilted lining parka. I'm very pleased with it.

thanks for suggestions... ooh one of the oasis ones has leopard fur lining - not sure if this is a hit or a miss but I quite like it!

Didriksons without a doubt. Pricey but they'll keep you toasty warm and dry and will last forever.

I think online only I'm afraid. I got mine from VikingKids and I can highly recommend them. It's run by some really nice women (all mums) and they're happy to talk through all the different sizes and options on the phone. Actually, I think they've got a shop but it's in South London - so if you live there you might be in luck.

I have last year's version of Didriksons Lindsey and can highly recommend it. They really do come up big so I'd go a size down (assuming that the Lindsey is as similar to the Celeste as it looks). I took the fur trim off mine in the spring and kept wearing it for ages. Just put the trim back on again as it's getting cold (not that it makes a difference but it makes it feel more snug, lol)

LOL just re-read that - to clarify, I was wearing the parka for ages minus the trim, not the trim on its own (now there's an idea though) Grin
