Binning the straightners who is with me?

Naturally curly but tend to straighten on work days and to be honest more straight than curly days.

So from tonight going back to my curls- partly inspired by Alex Kingston and her curls looking fab on tv the other night.

So I have washed and am letting it dry au naturel tonight a little drop of Trevor Sorbie curl cream through it.

Anyone else ditching the straightners?
Come on you know you want to!

I did it a few months ago - best thing I ever did! Go for it.

Ive had mine binned for nearly a year now. Unfortunately i dont have nice waves or curls, but i much prefer the "natural" look (slightly messy but volimised) to all that boring poker-straightness!

I hardly use mine now since I started using the coconut oil. I find that my hair 'holds' the blow dry better iykwim

I ditched mine about a year ago too! Not binned them though, they're too expensive for that :o.
I find I'm wearing my hair up far more than before, it's so hard for me to look professional with my hair not straightened. My curls are the messy kind :(.

I stopped using mine a few months ago and I've discovered that I have really nice curls. I bough the Oleo-curl creme from Kerastase and it is amazing. I get lots of compliments on my hair these days.

Thats my problem too snapes my hair gives me a slightly mad look when curly

and it's not ideal for my work...looks a bit unprofessional.

Thats when I usually relent and straighten .

So I will need a bit of support over the next few days .It can also be unpredictable some days big shiney curls other ratty looking.

Yep. Ironed hair is out anyway, like skinny jeans. Back to the bootcuts jeans and curly hair!

I never know how my hair will curl, sometimes it is lovely and sometimes a friy mess!

Coconut oil extra virgin organic. Bought from amazon. Big tub which is lasting forever. So about 3 times a week I soak it into dry hair (and scalp) and sleep in it. I dont even cover the pillow it doesnt stain at all. Its a hard oil that goes liquid when you rub it in your palms. When you wash and blow dry next morning ot leaves hair super shiney and swishy and much less prone to react to humidity. Also use it on my face and body. Can you tell I luff the stuff.!

Ps
my hair is dry, you might not need to do it so much.

I ditched mine about a year ago and grew my hair.

I love the freedom of just being able to blast it dry and my hair has a natural wave it didn't have years ago.

I don't need to look especially professional for work which is fortunate GrinI tend to plait it loosely to avoid hair pulling incidents but that's it. So much easier.....
