Is it all about ankle boots this winter?

Even if I have kind of chunky not great legs?!

I need new boots mostly to go with jeans but also, hopefully, to go with this and maybe this. They need to be flat and practical.

Anyone want to point me in the right direction? Please?

It is about the ankle boots
Mebbe two pairs? One for jeans and nicer shoe boots for dresses
(I love a shoe boot)

they seem to be everywhere and i love the look but where people are getting slim enough jeans for them is beyond me all the skinnies i try have loose ankles. Tried on super skinnies yesterday and they were tight perfect for boots but made my calves look HUGE and curvy :(

I have these - they go really well with dresses and are very very comfortable.

These are also lovely

The top pair are good in that you can have the laces looser which balances out slightly chunkier calves (I think)

So far this season I have bought these:

Black boots which are mega comfy and look great with jeans or skirts.

These: FC Boots which were 35 quid when I bought them and look amazing with my jeggings

and these:

TS Boots which again look great with jeans or skirts.

Really happy with all 3 pairs, still want to buy more boots as I lurve boots.

Thanks all. I have some high heeled shoe boots which I love but are not practical for every day. I really need flat boots. I like those FC boots a lot but they don't have them in my size in black. Typical. Lots to think about though. Think I'm most tempted by the biker type style if anyone else has any suggestions...
