Dh laughed when he saw me in them.
I'm 33 and a size 14. I think maybe I look a bit whitetrash Sad

Try to pair them with an incredibly classy neutral tunic and classy shoes?
Who knows, you might be able to make it work!

Link??

I love leopard print but hate skinnies on anyone.

aargh can't do links!
they're not super skinny, but they are very slim.
I've just made an expensive mistake basically, but I need to wear the fuckers now, even if it's just to prove a point to dh!

I think you need really classy top and a classy shoes to tone it down.

Minimal make up and accessories as it's all going on with the trousers!

Erm.... keep everything else simple, nice white T (no cleavage!) and black blazer with black slightly pointed flats is my take, with silver jewellery only, no gold! Hair and makeup simple. Hard to get away with anything if you're cringing inside though so either learn to love them or banish them from your wardrobe!

Why can't you take them back?

Try them with a slouchy jumper or with a biker jacket (not black though) and cuban heeled boots to harden them up a bit maybe?

I've got leopard print skinnies - have worn with a burgundy jumper and ankle boots. If you keep the rest neutral/classic they're fine.

I say no black with leopard. Agree white tee, blue blazer etc

What Pretzel said.

Neutral top, little or no cleavage on show. Wear with flats e.g. ballet pumps

What about pairing them with a knee-length boots and a knee-length tunic Grin

I think they look tacky in that link with the high-shine black biker jacket but that a different coloured biker jacket could look really good. If it has to be black, it needs to be a very All Saints sort of black I think.

He laughed?! How rude...
I'd be planning my revenge. Is he incredibly stylish and into fashion himself? Only take advice from those who take risks, look amazing whilst looking authentically themselves, otherwise ignore.

Grin Take them back they are everywhere atm and are the sort of thing that if you see even one other person in them at the same time they look common

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 29/08/2012 16:41

Lost a word there - a very 'weathered' All Saints sort of black

hadn't thought of burgundy mrs cb. Interesting.
thanks everyone. So it's a no to slagboots and a red lace crop top then Grin couldn't do classy if I stuck a birkin up my arse
