Can anyone recommend stick on nails?

Just that, really.

I have lovely nails on my left hand, but they all broke on my right, so I ended up going back to my old nail biting habit.

So I'm thinking some temporary stick on nails will help.

Anyone know of any good ones?

These are quite good and look nice on; not long and talon-y like some fake nails and a manageble length (ie. can use touch screen phone and don't ladder every pair of tights you own). However, if you're trying to encourage your nails to grow and generally to improve condition, you may prefer to try these tabs rather than the nail glue provided. That stuff is the work of the devil! These supposedly come off with a bit of nail polish remover, but I've yet to try them. Hope that helps!

My nails have always been prone to beaking, splitting, peeling, you name it - anything but growing nicely and behaving themselves. I've tried everything, including stick-on nails and they especially did much more harm than good.

I recently bought a set of shellac polishes and a UV drier on eBay and after a month have the longest natural nails of my life. The whole lot was about £35 (base coat, colour, top coat, UV drier) - best investment ever.

I second the Broadway nails. I use the 'Short Natural ones', on a Thursday night, and they usually last a week. I get the clear ones and paint them using Essie.

I think it was a brand called bluesky, there were several sellers selling 3 bottles for £21, and I think the dryer came from Amazon, a very simple one with 4 UV bulbs for about £15. It's tough as erm, nails, doesn't chip and prevents your nails from breaking, but unfortunately this does also mean its hard work getting it off, but worth the hassle if you ask me.

As a reformed horrific nail-biter who permanently wore falsies I'd recommend these.

Short and natural-ish (I always painted over them as I hate french manicures). Can be filed easily and the glue is super strong meaning they last for a week or more.

I second thecraicdealer on adhesive tabs if you want temporary. They are really good and mega quick to remove with no damage. Nailene's Studio nails don't include glue so you are not paying for something you won't use. I love the red ones and the French.
Asda & Tesco both sell the tabs and the nails.

Mirpuppet - I have gone from shellac to using sensationail kit. Can get from Asda or Boots for 60 quid (Boots 69.99 but there is a 10 voucher in Boots mag at the moment!)
The lamp in this one is better as it's LED not UV - cures in 30-60 seconds instead of 3 mins, no UVA/UVB rays and you never have to replace any bulbs.
