Cellulite - does brushing yourself 'towards the heart' actually work?

Because I spent 10 minutes doing so earlier and (a) it is boring and (b) hurts.

And how long before all the cellulite disappears forever?

Any miraculous cures welcome.

WHY towards the heart?

It all sounds like a load of buggery bollocks.

Imroves the look of my dark circles too.

Here you go

"The skin is the the largest organ in the human body and serves as a barrier from the environment and as an elimination route for sweat and other toxins. Skin cells are constantly shedding and skin brushing helps facilitate the process and thus the removal of toxins, such as uric acid. Skin brushing also targets the blood and lymphatic systems of the body. Lymph nodes and lymph vessels throughout the body are part of the immune system and skin brushing stimulates these areas to aid in optimal lymph and blood circulation and function."

Oh thank you. Smile

Am glad it has worked for you - I will keep on going. I am going to get a softer brush though, it stings (especially on the stomach)

Thnk you need to be gentler on the sensitive bits.

What kind of brush do you have? I have one like this only square and that's quite soft. I also have this one which is kind of massaging too, it is firmer, but I think more effective and I probably use that one more often.

Pretty sure brushing in the other direction won't make your cellulite worse. FWIW why not circles like you do on your face?
