High waisted jeans

Can anyone recommend any brands to try please? Just to narrow the field a bit.

I've got some Paige ones which fit beautifully and some topshop skinnies which are perfectly adequate for toddler chasing, but wondered if there were any other good ones to try.

I'm tall and very long in the body, plus I've a c-section scar, so low rise just doesn't work for me.

i found Next ones the highest and most flattering - the waist is miles long so even reach MY natural waist, there's some clevery stitchery going on so the resulting loooong arse doesn't look too bad. levi curve id also good but not as high.

I second the Next ones. I have a pair in dark denim and a pair in bottle green. Both very comfy, wash well and retain their shape. The waist is high and very flattering.

GAP long and lean, very flattering bootcut. You can find some bargains on ebay if you look

H&M's &Slim jeans are skinny jeans with a reasonably high waist. (Not to be confused with &Squin, which are low-rise and super-skinny).

I love my James jeans high rises. I think they're called High Class Straights. Very flattering though not cheap.

I love Nudie High Kais, super tight but a nice high waist and make my legs look slimmer. Great jeans, and not too bad price wise for premium denim.

I'm 5 foot 5 and a slim size 12, I love Gap High Waisted Skinny, bearing the ticket 'Legs for Days' I don't know about that, but they suit my long body and small waist but don't draw attention to my short legs and relatively curvacious hips and thighs. They are in the sale too.

Another vote for the Next ones. Am not keen on the bottle green and am desperately hoping they bring them out in more colours as they are the best fitting jeans I've had since my CS 15 years ago.

I have the topshop Kristen high waisted and I love them - are those the ones you have? If not, highly recommend.

Pomme I like those gap jeans. Are they the ones that aren't really in the main jeans bit? If so they're far and above the best high waisters I have found. And are lovely denim. But I'm a 14 and I had to buy 16!( or am I in denial?!)

Not jeans, but Hush have a lovely pair of skinny black cords, high rise and very long (I wear them turned up!).

Thank you all for the suggestions, I'm going to check out James Jeans and Gap.. And you lot might even have talked me into my first ever Next visit Smile

If you go for the next high-waisters, I recommend sizing down a lot. I bought some Next skinny high-waists and they seemed fine when I first tried them, but now they just seem to be getting bigger and bigger! I am a 10-12 I think, so I bought 10 but now think I should have got 8 (and I am not an 8!). Now they look so baggy I want to get another pair - so they are not as bargain-acious as I first thought...

I have just looked at Hush but can't see any cords- maybe they were in the Winter catalogue? (another c-section tum here)

Has anyone tried the brand called 'Not your Daughter's Jeans'?
They sell them near me but are right pricey.

someone recommended those to me the other day actually. a boutique in my town sells them so i might venture in and try some (if i can face the harpies who run the place).

i've not found that with mine bionic but maybe i've grown with them Hmm

I have adored my Levi curves as they do wonders for the legs and bottom. But high wasted they are not.

Last week I sampled the Uniqlo skinnies and whilst not as high as the Topshop ones they are good and a great price. Strangely though I sized down significantly as they are very stretchy and in the end was undecided as I wondered whether the major stretch would make them slither down.

I tried on an old pair of 501 the other day- bang on my natural waist. Do Levi still sell them? ( they were 501 cut for girls, not the men's ones).
