Full body massage. Yes or no?

I'm thinking of having a full body instead of a back, neck and shoulder massage but am concerned because I'm overweight and have cellulite on my big thighs and my tummy area is floppy like a lot of women after having children. Basically my body looks similar to the Little Britain character that runs round the spa...

Should I stick to the back massage?

If you would like the feel of a full body, please, please don't worry about how you look! Massage therapists will have seen all shapes and sizes and they are professionals - they are there to make you feel good, not to judge and criticise your body.

Do you think I could ask for an older therapist? I'd feel better if it wasn't a tiny little teenager IYKWIM?
What are they like? I have only ever had back, neck and shoulder before.

I like full body massages, but you have to be a bit assertive at the beginning, I find, and TELL them where you like being massaged and what pressure. I cant bear my stomach being touched, for example, but really like a firm massage on my legs and gentle on my arms (bruise very easily). If you can find a therapist who does a bit of a face/head massage at the end, it is absolute bliss Grin

I'm sure most good beauty salons will be accommodating if you explain your worries. But honestly, you should NOT worry about what you look like!

Its just a job to a professional therapist - they will have sprayed tan all over people, waxed fanjos etc they really won't be bothered

I love having full body massages, - I have all sorts of fat wobbly bits, but have never felt self conscious. It is important to find a therapist you really like, - the one I have at the moment is Danish and she does a very firm massage, - I feel brilliant for days afterwards.
