Help me choose a coat for this wedding dress

Going to be wearing this dress to my wedding in December.

I need a coat as will be outside for a little while.

Any suggestions? Have been looking at faux fur coats / wraps but not seen any nice ones. Open to different ideas though!

Also was wondering if I should get a cover up to wear during the ceremony, something a bit like this or will that end up being too fussy?

oooh that's lovely! really like the cover up - but how warm will it be?

Could you try a silver / slightly coloured fake fur wrap? along these lines - but deeper than that IYSWIM?

Wow, that's a really unusual dress, I think it's lovely. It's hard to tell how the cover up will work without seeing both in real life. Just a thought, that wrap probably won't keep you warm. Something like <a class="break-all" href="//www.amazon.co.uk/BWJ006-Ivory-Ribbon-Bolero-Sleeves/dp/B005FVNULA/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1319474262&sr=8-3&tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21" rel="nofollow noindex" target="_blank">this?

Lovely dress. I like the cover up but am not sure if it will go, as burrito says it's hard to tell without seeing them together. If you want more warmth during the ceremony I would suggest vests/petticoats and big knickers! not sexy but you can always remove later on in the evening some time!

I think the fake fur wraps go well with the dress - they go with the whole simple/innocent thing...

Or what about this? I'm not sure - I like it but it might be a bit too structured for the dress... Depends whether you are going for a hippy child kind of look or not!

Your dress is beautiful I love it. Cover up gorgeous too but perhaps a little long for that style of dress? LOVE the feather cape Teth has suggested. Have a fab day.

The silver mesh jacket is lovely and won't look fussy at all, it adds interest to the very plain dress. Perfect. Broderie jacket is too summery and won't go with it, and I think fur wraps look naff.

You could maybe try going for a nice scarf like this one to have wrapped round your arms iykwim, you could even try match the colour to the flowers/decor if it would go with the dress. Or maybe a gilet, but like a loosey one?
