Hello all, I have been a lurker for a while, but thought I'd post this as I hadn't seen it here.

P&M have a 15% off code until 31 October, "spooky".

I have just ordered a Milly bag in tan and am VERY excited!

(I blame S&B for going on about P&M, and had never heard of them before [hgrin])

Oh god, I'm tempted....

Do come back and tell us how dark (or light) the tan is Peaceflower. I like the look of it but I also fancy the chocolate Mulberry Antony. Decisions, decisions.....

Yes, I too would be v. interested in a report back on the tan Milly - the colour looks a bit 'reddish' online .....

Doyouthink - I fancied the Antony too - but then thought so many others had copied it I would never feel it was special - and at the price it needs to feel very very special - IFYKWIM.!
I think I will order the Milly in tan and have a look at it - will report back when I have it - Smile

I bought the Milly in tan a month or so back and it's a great shade. I've worn it with black, blue, even grey. Goes particularly well with my new olive green leather jacket - new uniform of the winter in fact. Really pleased with it. Only annoying thing about it is that I wished I'd waited for this discount! Ah well, maybe I'll use it on the Natalia clutch as I don't have enough animal print in my life.

What is that horrid red and white patent bag (minnie) on their site? it's vile.

Kagriff could you say a bit about what sort of tan the Millie is in - orange-y, red-dy, yellow-y, etc ??

The best description of the colour is probably conker - definitely not too orange-y. Basically, it looks really expensive! I've just bought some chelsea boots from Kurt Geiger in tan and they go perfectly with it.

many thanks. Hmm, sounds nice - and very classy. Just don't like anything orange or yellow toned.

SO Milly owners - is it a bag you could use everyday with the kids or only a work bag??? It sounds so lovely i want to hear that it is an everyday bag really but please describe what you think its best for. And does it sit easily on the shoulder without meaning you have to hitch your shoulder up?(Thats the highly unattractive habit i am developing with my current bag- sooo not a good look) And how does it look if you use it across the body????

Mine came today too! I had to wait nearly all day before I could open it, and my 14 year old dd came along that very second and said, "eewwwww, is that even new" [hshock] [hconfused].

I put the bag down and did not look at it again for another 20 mins, gathering my thoughts [hconfused].

It is much bigger than I imagined, but the narrow opening may mean getting a netbook or ipad in may take a bit of manoeuvring. The colour is "conker" as others have perfectly described, the leather smells divine and is sooooo soft. The straps are adjustable but there are no restraining loops so if on the shortest setting, the ends may be "dangly".

So far, I love it. Will admire and swoon for a few days before waterproofing it, in case I change my mind and decide to return it.

This is the most I have ever spent on a bag and I think it may well be worth it [hgrin].

Have now calmed down from receiving mine!Shock - - and still love it! The colour is a warm browny tan and the leather matt and soft and smells beautiful. The two straps are quite thick and the shoulder strap widens in the centre so I don't think any slipping off shoulders will happen when it's fully loaded. I may take a Netbook in mine sometimes which won't be a problem with the opening and as it is a big bag would wear it lower on the hip as an across the body bag. But I think it will just sit on my shoulder mainly crammed with my crap essentials.! At this price I will wear it all the time (!) but will treat it with leather protector and look after it too.! I feel very spoilt!!Smile
