Machine, 30 synthetics wash with powder and varnish.

Take the laces out first or the grey marks from the eyelets won't come off.

I wash mine in the machine with some towels so they don't bang about and bleach the laces

I bleach mine first too - they are white ones and really need it.

I use bathroom cleaner on the rubber bits and wash the laces. My Converse are all PVC (fake patent) or covered in glitter so can't really wash them but the bathroom cleaner is good for grubby toes and soles.

Do you think it'll be OK to wash a black pair with a pale grey pair ? Will they run ?

I put mine in a pillow case to stop them banging around.

You are all mental for washing cons. They're meant to be beat up and worn!

"Well you might wear Classic Reeboks, or knackered Converse, or trackie bottoms tucked in socks..."

I didn't think there was any way to wear Converse other than knackered?
