Sizing seems bizarre no consistency
Some really thin poor quality tops
But the skirts look nice beautifully lined good quality
The window displays are fab then I go in and don't know where to start.

I find sizing is consistent - big hips, small boobs

TethHearseEnd Fri 14-Oct-11 19:32:38

No, no and thrice no.

You need to pick carefully as quAlity can be poor but I do have a couple of really nice things.

I got a lovely dress from there last year but never seen anything else to tempt me before or since.

No - it doesn't last. Material very thin and prone to holes, edges fray, buttons don't stay on.

Trills Fri 14-Oct-11 19:50:45

I have a couple of nice things from White Stuff that seem to be lasting fine.

Nope. It's for women who think they are bit too alternative for Boden.

But they aren't.

Got lots from there in sales when was one of few local shopping options, most stuff poor quality (faded quickly in wash) and overpriced IMO.

pootle123 Fri 14-Oct-11 21:48:05

I go in there and I forget what year it is. It seems as if they've been churning out the same stuff since 2006.

frightstick Fri 14-Oct-11 21:53:53

I wear lots of White stuff although always get cross at patchy quality.

But I don't really have an interest in fashion, have no idea about this seasons 'trends etc.

Just like to order online, have it turn up and not make too many decisions.

But the fashionistas on here will flame me for it grin

frightstick Fri 14-Oct-11 21:54:52

Georgeelliot, I am that woman wink

goingmadinthecountry Fri 14-Oct-11 22:28:06

No way. It's very dull.

spongefingeranyone Fri 14-Oct-11 22:48:59

If you like it, then yes. If you don't like it then no. Stop worrying what everyone else thinks.

I've a lovely top from there but bought from Bicester Village not the catalogue the moths got it but it's still really nice if you don't wear anything white underneath <<irony>>>

It's ok for summer stuff and I've had a couple of nice knits. Only buy in the sale though as I think it's overpriced for the quality.

GiganticusBottomus Sat 15-Oct-11 08:35:01

I want to love it because of the colours and pattern but nothing sodding well fits me (short, big norks) - the tunics are huge, everything is too low cut, I don't know WHAT they do with their cardigans and the top I had from there a few years ago literally fell apart.

So NO, NO, NO.

LoveInAColdGrave Sat 15-Oct-11 08:37:07

I wear quite a lot of their dresses and find they wash and wear well. But S&B has made me feel frumpy for doing so.

GiganticusBottomus Sat 15-Oct-11 08:57:59

Sod s and b. Some of the 'gorgeous' things posted on there are GROSS! You will know if you look frumpy or not.

Hulababy Sat 15-Oct-11 09:17:13

I like White Stuff and have had some lovely, good quality from there. Never had any problems with them tbh. I find the sizing good and consistent.

LoveInAColdGrave Sat 15-Oct-11 10:09:32

Thanks, GB.

neuroticmumof3 Sat 15-Oct-11 12:31:20

I've got some lovely skirts, dresses and tops from there and have always been pleased with the quality.

MegBusset Sat 15-Oct-11 12:41:05

I am officially White Stuff Woman (but only on the top half). Their tops fit me perfectly and I like a lot of the prints. Skirts/trousers don't fit at all though.

I've never been stylish so see no reason to start now grin
