Now usually I'm a great fan of Brora but I'm gobsmacked by this and the other bits and pieces of the same ilk

Perhaps they have taken on a redundant Per Una designer?

Fucking hell that's vile! £690! Hilarious. Really, anyone who buys that deserves to look stupid in it, because they clearly are stupid.

How actually buys these things? Really - who? Confused I'd LOVE to know.

It looks as if they've chopped up 4 of my dad's jumpers to make it - and he'sin his eighties.

I'm not keen on the Louise Grey stuff - too designery and impenetrable for me. It's for tall, skinny, very fashionable women - it would look great on Portas.

but the rest of the Brora stuff is orgasm central. I love it and my entire wardrobe would be from there if I was massively rich.

I was looking at that stuff the other day and there was a pair of socks for £195!!! For a pair of socks!!!!

Blimey. A cut-n-shut cardie.

Or perhaps it's more of a seasonal Frankenstein's monster for hallowe'en?

I don't really get Brora, especially the non cashmere stuff. It seems frumpy and overpriced. You can buy high fashion for those prices.

The prices of the Louise Grey collection are a bit shocking. I assume they've only made a few, and that it's made with an eye to the press. Dexter, I couldn't believe the price of those socks either. Very nice socks, but even so!!!

I do love Brora cashmere though. The quality is so much better than anywhere else, and the colours have a nice depth to them as well.

They have a 'flash sale' on merino at the moment and that looks like good value (merino tunic from 79 to 35 quid).

at 'cut-n-shut' Grin That is exactly what it is. It's like what poor Hillbillies would have done during the American great depression. Taken the best bits of several old items and stitched them together. Do they sell shoes with cardboard in the soles as well? And belts made of string?

I sort of like it but it's far too expensive.
