I want really hot thermal undies (like M&S men's ones) but in a "ladies" style. IS THAT REALLY TOO MUCH TO ASK???

Argh. Tempted to put this in the Feminism section. It is SO infuriating that women's "thermal" underwear is all the flimsy lacey crap stuff. I want maximum warmth brushed merino wool (comme ca but without a crew neck. V or scoop would be fine.

Do they not realise that lots of women spend frigging ages outside, hanging about in playgrounds etc?

CambridgeBaby one = too crew necky

Bella di Notte one looks kind of promising, although it's graded as "3" and the heat ratings are usually out of 5, plus it's about a tenner more than the men's ones in M&S, so that just pisses me off.

The Lidl ones are worth investigating further, but I'm not convinced about the inclusion of angora.

I've seen the M&S heat generating ones...might give them a go, but I'm not convinced they;ll be as warm as the men;s ones.

Uniqlo HeatTech is fantastic. It's thin, but it's got some kind of magic Japanese technology that keeps you SO warm.

Look out for some in Aldi. They do merino wool ski/snowboard thermals at really good prices from time to time.
