3 sachets of Blemish balm and a voucher for a pound off! Brilliant! Can't wait to try it.

Huh? Is this an advert?

What is blemish balm?

If it is an advert then it's not a very good one.

No. It's not an advert Angry i posted the link a few weeks ago for getting free samples of the Garnier BB cream (or beauty balm) and got them today which made me happy. I think some other people on this forum might have done the same! I was just saying what I got. You can even check back if you don't believe me! Angry

No need for the red face.

You didn't explain what you were talking about, so I asked. I didn't think it was an advert because an advert would ave said very clearly what product was being referred to.

I don't tend to search posters' previous threads just to find out what blemish balm is.

I sent for the samples but haven't got them yet. What do you think of it?

I got mine today too :) I tried it and I like it. Nice natural, light coverage, subtle and does seem to add a little something to my complexion. Nice for during the day.

Do you need moisturiser on underneath it? Tried mine today and liking it so far. Have not worn any moisturiser underneath it. I think one sachet could last two days.

is it a foundation, or a undercream type thing?

my skin is bloody awful at the mo...need some help to make it beautiful!

Just wondering if it's quite mattifying? Does it last well all day?

Thinking of swapping my Chanel vitalumiere for this as my skin tends to be shine city by the afternoon.

Are they still doing the samples, do you know :)

louloubellamozzarella, I have three sample sachets you can have if you PM me your address (and if your skin is fair!) I bought the full-size tube on Wednesday, and the samples arrived yesterday.

I'm not using moisturiser underneath - I'm treating it as a tinted moisturiser. I quite like it so far. It's not mattifying, but it does seem to last for a whole day.

Ah really? That would be great. Will PM you.

I don't have v greasy skin but the vitalumiere seems to emphasise the shine and bring it out which isn't ideal as I do love the natural look. Fingers crossed this will be similar.

Ooh, mine came yesterday too Grin

I shall try it out tonight!

I bought a tube of it and I think it's brilliant and I have terrible skin. I still use a bit of powder on top just on my t-zone though as I tend to get very shiny. I think bb is much better than some of the more expensive foundations I've tried.

I love it too, have been using it for a couple of weeks. It goes on lovely, smells nice & makes my skin look very healthy. I wouldn't use moisturiser underneath as one of the things it does is hydrate. It's not mattifying but it doesn't make my skin nearly as shiny as my previous Clarins tinted moisturiser.

I've had it for about a month and think it's fab. Apparently Boots 17 have one too.

I think the boots one comes out next month in the 17 range. So far so good. Think i need a little powder on my t zone but happy enough. Will use all the samples and then hopefully buy it and use the one pound off voucher that comes with the sample. I have also entered a comp to win one so fingers crossed!

I was looking at powders yesterday in town to use over the BB cream, I thought a translucent powder would be good - I found a really nice one at the Dior counter but it turned out to be £45 Shock, could it possibly be worth it?

I am going to just use my corn silk powder (great and cheap) and hope that works out...or try my translucent Laura Mercier one...anyone know where it is cheapest at the moment? On a similar note I am impressed with Garnier. I have had not only these samples but also the anti aging one the Davina McCall promoted. Why dont more companies do this?

BB is quite good, especially at that price! I use it on top of moisturiser because my skin can be a bit dry. But if I don't wait long enough between I get very shiny. I'm using translucent pressed powder from 17 at boots (the teenage stuff not the No7).

I love it too. I do moisturise beforehand because my skin is quite dry - but I leave it for 5 minutes and then apply BB which stops it from going too shiny.

Vitalumiere was hopeless.

Mac, Dior and Shu Uemura all have BB creams out and I wonder how those compare?

Thanks so much AgentProvocateur for the samples Grin

I like it - find that it takes a while to settle in my skin - feels a little clammy when first applied - but then feels great. Think this is going to replace my normal foundation - especially as it's a third of the price.

You're welcome. I've been using it for about six days now, and yesterday I came out in horrible sore spots! They seem to have gone away now, though. Overall, I'm happy with it.
