Do you want to be able to tuck jeans in? Are they massive around your feet? I had to size down with UGGs.

I have always been very sniffy about Uggs but js1000 those are gorgeous.

The question is, having sounded off about how minging Uggs are for years and how Aussies only use them for shlepping about the house and yadda yadda blah blah, can I now do a complete U-turn....?

Are they uncomfortably tight? If they are you might find you don't wear them so you might as well return them. If they're not too tight with tights then keep them.

Leather should stretch, so I would judge more by how your feet feel. I often buy a bigger size for boots (fat calves), but then the foot part becomes uncomfortable because they are too big.

I'd keep them and just encourage them to stretch.

How high are they? I've been eyeing them up too.

High as in how high on the leg.

It was difficult the zip-up (fat legs) at first but after walking at home for 5 min. wearing them ... it was ok. They come just below my knees but I am just 5.3 so depends on your height. I never liked Uggs before but they are just my style (with heel) plus very warm and snugly
