I want a leather type satchely bag

I would like a leather satchely type bag for taking all my shite to uni.

I have a leather laptop type bag but it's not deep/wide enough for A4 lever arch files plus all the massive books.

I had a bag last year but it was a secondary kids school bag type and I left a banana and apple in it all summer and it was disgusting and I'd really like something a bit more grown up.

Obviously am a student so not a massive budget, but I'd rather pay for something that will last.

Do your worst ladies Grin

Nice, but how distressed is it - does it = looks knackered already, or just a worn in look?

I dunno that's what I'm not sure about lol

This is where I got mine. Love it and it's perfect for college. It does stink though something to do with the way they tan the hide. It does fade over time

Troop London? Canvas as well as leather but they're a good size and sturdy. I've just bought one of the laptop rucksacks and I'm really impressed, takes an A4 file and all my textbooks.

My local TK Maxx had some Fossil satchel type bags(think they were leather) in. You could check yours.

I like that top one on Seekers link.

Me too but the others are nice but I think the brown leather ones on seekers link wouldn't date and would go with everything and the price is awesome especially since I'm broke

seeker Thanks

I've gone for the second one down, in large, with square corners (ie not round)

Dd and I share one we've had it for 3 years now and it's got very floppy and squashy. It's still in brilliant condition and looks Better then ever.

The price is amazing - less than half of anywhere else

The one you have chosen is very nice and I am tempted- please lets us know what it is like when it arrives.

I will.

I went for it because it's the biggest overall - deeper than the other one and I have a ton of fat horrible hard to read books to carry.

The bag is here and looks fantastic - looks slightly worn (which I wanted) but not tatty, not new either.

Smells a bit lol

AND most important of all I can get a lever arch file and a couple of books in it

It's fantastic and I'm delighted

Thanks again Seeker and everyone else who helped look for me

Well done Seeker, that is a great site, I wish I needed a bag.

It's pretty deep, but not massive, just the right size and perfect for my folders and books.

The strap is leather and maybe a bit thin (it's not padded) but seriously I am over the moon

It's exactly what I was looking for and the price was brilliant
