Origins Pinch Your Cheeks

Bought this today and not sure what to think tbh. The colour is gorgeous but it seems to stain my fingers far more than it does my cheeks and there doesn't seem to be very much at all in the (teeny tiny) tube. Have I been ripped off? Does anybody use/rate it? Am I doing something wrong?

I used to use it all the time and loved it but the tiny tube has now sunk to the bottom of my make-up bag and since having DD I just don't have the time or inclination to chase it around any more!

The colour is natural and it lasts, but yes it will stain your fingers. I think the amount in the tube seems very little, but it lasts a long time - you don't need to use too much. Don't let it sit on your finger or on your cheek and soak in as it is a waste, and will stain much more.

Are you getting a nice result or not? If not perhaps you're not applying it quickly enough - out the tube, on the cheek, blend immediately. Is it sinking into your finger instead?

It looks nice on my cheeks - just lots on my fingers too! I will practise again tomorrow in natural light and see how it looks then. Thanks for replying.

I use this 'cos it looks very natural but yes I do have to wash my fingers (very quickly) afterwards.

is it like benetint?

I avoid the problem by putting handcream on first, so hands don't absorb the colour

The tube is crap, sort of metal isnt it? I foudn getting it out very hard. Also if I applied over liquid foundation it sort of mixed up to make a pink paste which wasnt the look I was going for at all

havent bothered with it again since, but I think Superdrug do an identical but much less £££ one

Thanks all. I've tried Orgasm in the past but it's too sparkly for me and Benetint is too sticky.

I've been pootling along happily with Max Factor and Boots Natural Collection for years but thought I'd treat myself. It appears that I've just wasted 13 quid. :(
