and there's the photo!

its 1952 Dior. I'm hopeless at putting outfits together so thought I'd start by 'copying' someone else's idea of an outfit!

the skirt is being made for me so can be in any colour/fabric

So, first question is... what colour combo do you think would work?

secondly, can you please help me find a hat and blouse!

thank you!

Hippy, really like the outfit but it's tricky to find anything similar to that blouse. There are some made to order and ready made fitted fifties blouses on etsy.

hotburrito.. thank you! the second one you linked to has definitely got the right sort of 'feel' to it.

I think you should make the skirt in satin for vroom.

I drool over this dress (I don't work for them, honest, but my mate has it and I cannot forgive her ).

If you are having the skirt made, could you have the blouse made too?

Saw this pattern which is very similar.

It's a lovely outfit!

i like this one

if it was tight round the waist do you think it would be ok? not sure if its too far from the original photo

I'm a winter girl apparently so what colours do you reckon this would work in for me?
