what have you got for your winter wardrobes, or are planning on buying?

So far I have this which I will be wearing non stop until about April, under coats, near coats, at work, in bed. I am also sporting marl grey striped tights, also from Gap.

After 3rd DC stopped breastfeeding and I have been exercising again I have shrunk since last winter from size 14 to 8 so have been going a bit mad, but must rein it in now...wish you hadn't reminded me of that Gap cardi, I love it but managed to step away a couple of weeks ago and now I have the 30% off thing til tomorrow!

I have so far bought these dresses

grey velvet

red dress

And this sweater

Love them all, so beautiful and soft, especially cosy with wolford winter logic ribbed tights (beware trying these, they are addictive but are, to be fair, very strong!)

I got two pairs very reduced citizens of humanity jeans in the summer sales and a bargain on a gorgeous maxmara cashmere cardi but need something more practical, like the gap one grin. I am hankering after a leather mini but needs to be non-designer, my intention is to build an amazing wardrobe to remove any inclination to put weight back on!

Already have biker boots and cropped leather jacket plus a great fur lined parka I splashed out on last winter, I just need a couple more tops/sweaters really..preferably some sparkly zadig ones but £shock

Cor Abs that cardigan is gorge.

Is it good quality?

AbsDuWolef Wed 21-Sep-11 13:41:48

It's amazing - very soft, very light. I will defo be living in it. My colleague bought a similar one a couple of years ago from Gap, and she said it's still going strong

I also need new boots but am being super fussy and don't like anything.

I reallllllllllllllllllllllllllllllly want that cardi now. I have a new penchance for cashmere. It makes me feel all grown-up and swish << technical term

Should both your arms fall off, be a love and post it to me would you? Ta.

Pinot Wed 21-Sep-11 14:16:23

What colour is best?

<flexes credit card>

AbsDuWolef Wed 21-Sep-11 14:24:21

I have the dark grey version, ergo, that is best. I do think the creamy version looks lurvely but I'm not enough of a grown up to wear cream coloured clothing; it would be brown and covered in coffee stains within three minutes.

I can give you a 30% discount code if you like ...

Bollocks, I really want that cardi, it is exactly what I have been looking for.

spiderslegs Wed 21-Sep-11 14:35:39

I too am desirous of the cardi - may I pretty please have your discout code which would bring it in at a very reasonable £84.

Grey deffo.

AbsDuWolef Wed 21-Sep-11 14:48:36

sleep - I agree about Zadig. The clothing is beyootiful but totally overpriced. I nearly faint every time I go into the place.

dexter73 Wed 21-Sep-11 14:51:32

I don't think the discount code can be used for cashmere.

dexter73 Wed 21-Sep-11 14:56:35

Just checked -
One per transaction; single use only. Excludes leather goods, 100% cashmere products, Gap Design Editions and Pierre Hardy Shoes, babyGap Home, gift cards/certificates and purchases made with gift cards. Not valid with other discounts.

Sleepwhenidie Wed 21-Sep-11 16:05:49

Sorry guys, cashmere excluded from the 30% sad

Sleepwhenidie Wed 21-Sep-11 16:06:11

Sorry dexter, x post!

aquavit Wed 21-Sep-11 16:16:13

I have just ordered this (like many others after a recent thread I suspect) and these and have a gorgeous dark teal brora cowl-neck cashmere dress waiting in my wardrobe.

And I won't be wearing any of them (well apart from the boots) because I'll be sodding well breastfeeding and I didn't really think it through when I fell in love with the knitted frocks

On the bright side, my Gap skinny maternity jeans are AWESOME and I may never take them off, ever. And I have two very gorgeous cashmere hooded cardis from Gap from last year which I can dig out (can confirm that Gap cashmere is jolly good and washes/wears very well)

Pinot Wed 21-Sep-11 16:19:08

Buggerations that the discount code is lusciousness-sensitive. <hurrumphs> I still wannit!!

homeaway Wed 21-Sep-11 16:24:38

acquavit love the dress, you might be able to wear it with an ultra stretchy cami to feed?

NinkyNonker Wed 21-Sep-11 20:07:55

I don't know, I'm pregnant and can't find any nice maternity winter wear anywhere. Sulk sulk. I'm only 8 wks and showing already. Sulk sulk.

brianmayshair Wed 21-Sep-11 20:27:34
