what have you got for your winter wardrobes, or are planning on buying?

So far I have this which I will be wearing non stop until about April, under coats, near coats, at work, in bed. I am also sporting marl grey striped tights, also from Gap.

After 3rd DC stopped breastfeeding and I have been exercising again I have shrunk since last winter from size 14 to 8 so have been going a bit mad, but must rein it in now...wish you hadn't reminded me of that Gap cardi, I love it but managed to step away a couple of weeks ago and now I have the 30% off thing til tomorrow!

I have so far bought these dresses

grey velvet

red dress

And this sweater

Love them all, so beautiful and soft, especially cosy with wolford winter logic ribbed tights (beware trying these, they are addictive but are, to be fair, very strong!)

I got two pairs very reduced citizens of humanity jeans in the summer sales and a bargain on a gorgeous maxmara cashmere cardi but need something more practical, like the gap one Grin. I am hankering after a leather mini but needs to be non-designer, my intention is to build an amazing wardrobe to remove any inclination to put weight back on!

Already have biker boots and cropped leather jacket plus a great fur lined parka I splashed out on last winter, I just need a couple more tops/sweaters really..preferably some sparkly zadig ones but £Shock

Is it good quality?

It's amazing - very soft, very light. I will defo be living in it. My colleague bought a similar one a couple of years ago from Gap, and she said it's still going strong

I also need new boots but am being super fussy and don't like anything.

What colour is best?

Report
AbsDuWolef · 21/09/2011 14:24

I have the dark grey version, ergo, that is best. I do think the creamy version looks lurvely but I'm not enough of a grown up to wear cream coloured clothing; it would be brown and covered in coffee stains within three minutes.

I can give you a 30% discount code if you like ...

I too am desirous of the cardi - may I pretty please have your discout code which would bring it in at a very reasonable £84.

Grey deffo.

sleep - I agree about Zadig. The clothing is beyootiful but totally overpriced. I nearly faint every time I go into the place.

I don't think the discount code can be used for cashmere.

I have just ordered this (like many others after a recent thread I suspect) and these and have a gorgeous dark teal brora cowl-neck cashmere dress waiting in my wardrobe.

And I won't be wearing any of them (well apart from the boots) because I'll be sodding well breastfeeding and I didn't really think it through when I fell in love with the knitted frocks

On the bright side, my Gap skinny maternity jeans are AWESOME and I may never take them off, ever. And I have two very gorgeous cashmere hooded cardis from Gap from last year which I can dig out (can confirm that Gap cashmere is jolly good and washes/wears very well)
