I just got mine - I'd say they are really quite fab. They fit me a lot like my favourite pair of Paige jeans. Highly recommend them!

High waist? Low waist? I need some to come to my navel at least or they just fall down.

Ooh - high!

They come just to the navel so high waist. I am really happy with them. Just about to wear them on a plane for 7 hours so that's how confident I am that they will be comfortable (and stylish - I dress up for plane rides!).

Have a lovely holiday kplondon - hope it's a holiday!
Yep, high waisted, lovely dark colour, straight legged but a teeny bit wider at the bottom so sit on the feet nicely.
I'd also say generously sized. They looked very narrow before I put them on but luckily are very stretchy. That's probably because it's cheap denim.
I prefer them to my Gap super skinnies,
And I had to order online

thank you thank you - was just having a meander through the S&B board hoping for some cheap ideas to refresh wardrobe (baby only 8 weeks so carrying more weight than I would like and hope to lose it so don't want to spend a fortune on clothes I intend to slim out of). Am going to order some right now!

I can now say they are also damn comfy Georgi, I wore them for an 8 hour shopping session yesterday! No constant hoiking up!
I've ordered my mum a pair Smile

twolittlemonkeys · 26/09/2011 12:47

:( that they don't come in short leg length. No good for my 5' nothing frame then...

Typical, 10 long is already oos

I don't think the stores are selling them yet, our local Asda is huge and they were nowhere to be seen.
How tall are you gettingolder? I'm 5'5 and have the standard length but I had to wear a 1" heel to stop them dragging on the floor.
Twolittlemonkeys - my mum is also 5' nothing so is used to having to cut off a few inches off trouser legs. Which is what she is going to do Grin but I'm surprised Asda didn't think to do a short leg.
p&p makes them £20.45 iirc - a bargain! And take about 3 working days to arrive - take note H&M Hmm

Thank you MaryJane my local store had some. I had to ask and the sales lady went and got a pair. She said they had almost all sold without being put out yet! I would have preferred to try on the next size up ( all gone) so hoping they do not shrink. I like the fit - not too high - I personally cannot wear low cut jeans. I will need to shorten - but am used to that and they are straightlegs.

I'm only 5' 4" MaryJane, but I've got long legs and short body. I think I'll try standard though if you think they are fairly long - nothing to lose because I can take them back if they don't fit. My local Asda is huge but they haven't got any in.

They are definitely long in the leg but I do the cheat's hem (fold them under themselves) and because they are slim in the leg, they don't fall down. Hey - at least there's no sewing! And they do stretch out quite a lot.

rubia I am thunderous of thigh but they are fine (had to put hold you in pants on underneath due to post partum jelly belly though).

Ordered mine after getting the 'mumsnet swears by email and they arrived yesterday. They're fab! Wore them out last night and they were very comfy and I felt great.

I'm 5'6 so ordered 12 regular and the length is pretty much perfect for flats or a mid heel.

If I had one complaint, it's that they are a little bit bulky at the top of the zip/ where the button is. But for £18, i can overlook that.

They defo look much more expensive though! Recommend!

SleepyFergus, I agree with you about the bulk at the top of the zip. If ASDA improved that, they could be "Great Bum and Great Tum" jeans but for now, we are stuck with our great bums and bulky tums.

ahem, please can I ask an over-personal question? Those who love these jeans, what shape are you? thanks! (not size - but shape)

Does anyone have a pair in a long length? If so, are they decently long? Enough for someone 5'11"? I can't find any bloody inside leg measurements on the website.
