WHO wants a leather t shirt?
HOW just * splutters * does that work?

then this hideous thing

Pinkflipflop Tue 20-Sep-11 19:26:35

I'll get flamed but while I wouldn't touch the leather thing with a barge pole, I would wear the cardigan thingy!! blush

PennyFothaguy Tue 20-Sep-11 19:27:52

That leather top looks like something Buffalo Bill woudl have made in Silence of The Lambs

I'm always SORELY disappointed with MV when I peruse

ireallyagreewithyou Tue 20-Sep-11 19:29:14

i ordered a t shirt/top in "lipstick" online
colour lovely.
size L (am busty 12 - 14)
it was SO TIGHT you could see my stomach button through it. almost every pore in my skin

so off it went back

Ah now you can't blame MV for the leather t-shirt, they're everywhere at the moment, look at this lurvely seaside town bar manager warehouse one

The waistcoat though...think I made a similar one myself in technology textiles in 1995.

orangina Tue 20-Sep-11 19:34:55

orangina Tue 20-Sep-11 19:42:21

MissBeehiving Tue 20-Sep-11 20:04:50

I haven't bought anything from MV for months and I purchased loads last year. It's just not doing much for me atm <sob>

SheWhoMustNotBeFlamed Tue 20-Sep-11 20:31:42

Snap, Miss B <sorrow>

MissBeehiving Tue 20-Sep-11 20:36:13

SWMNBF - are you a n/c?

moondog Tue 20-Sep-11 20:47:43

<guffaw> at Buffalow Bill ensemble.
I do like those boots though...

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie Tue 20-Sep-11 21:19:37

It's a v odd shop. Agree that tops come up v v tight if you are the slightest bit norky - but dresses are enormous. The quality is v hit and miss too. I won't buy anything else from there, though I did buy three or four things when it first opened.

That cardigan looks like something Sanpe would wear.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie Tue 20-Sep-11 21:20:13

Snape not Sanpe.

Tillyscoutsmum Tue 20-Sep-11 21:23:31

It is indeed an odd place. I do like a few bits and have just ordered this. I hate their descriptions though. WTAF is "Organic layering" ??

SheWhoMustNotBeFlamed Tue 20-Sep-11 21:54:53

Nah - I am Mumsnut <makes secret aviator jacket sign>

MissBeehiving Tue 20-Sep-11 21:57:37

<strokes lovely soft jacket> grin

moondog Tue 20-Sep-11 22:12:51

Nice Tilly
<guffaw> at organic layering.
Fashion folk talk such shite don't they?

ireallyagreewithyou Tue 20-Sep-11 22:27:38

No Cos around here

Tillyscoutsmum Tue 20-Sep-11 22:28:38

They do indeed. It also gets right on my tits when they tell you how or when to wear it. I don't need to be told that it will make "great relaxed weekend wear". What about if I want to wear it in the week ? Or want to wear it on a none relaxed weekend ?

'Just the thing for a relaxed lunch al fresco with the school run mums'

How about its suitablity for arefilling the car with petrol and buying some more bog roll?
