I desperately need to buy myself a new winter coat. Just an everyday, warm coat that has a hood and is waterproof. I walk a minimum of 3 miles a day, in all weather so the warmer the better! I'm thinking perhaps a down filled coat from Gap? If you have any other options I would love to hear them! Budget is about £100-120 ish!

The Lands End Stadium Squall Parka is what you're looking for.

Most of the down-filled ones are not properly waterproof. And most of the waterproof ones are not that warm, and/or are too short.

I've had one of these for three years and they are very good for people who walk a lot. Calling it stylish would be overstating the case, but they're not hideously ugly. Sizing comes up big, so don't size up when you buy.
