Attractive courts or mary-janes in black or beige, with heels like blocks or wedges for a wobbly heel wearer.

Hello, following on from my thread here I am looking for a pair of shoes to go with either a black/white outfit or a beige outfit.

I prefer block heels and wedges. I can handle a sight platform. I like courts as long as they stay on my feet smile but prefer a mary-jane or ankle strap if it can be found.

I would be happy to spend up to about £80 and would prefer to buy something which might, hopefully, last for a few years.

All help much appreciated.

harken to me.

i have never been able to ear heels and i have recently discovered why - i am 39 so this has took some time

1) buy good shoes, not shoes from new look. I think that M&S do some nice shoes that are comfy. a brogue esq toe part and really comfy for work.

2) have you tried wearing half a size smaller? it works for me with high heels

3) party feet - the gel inserts are a miricle invention. they stop your foot sliding with gravity and being all crumpled down the bottom

i have something like these for work and they are super comfy and i dont fall over

Ooh, I had a Jones pair very similar to the ones in your link and I lived in them for several years.

Not so much for work, but for a special daytime event. So need something with a little bit of elegance, glamour and as much daintiness as can be mustered with a block or wedge heel!

Thanks, but I am not really looking for loafers at present.

I would have bought these if they were not out of stock:

The jobs ones look drearily county. The heeled loafers are mad men chic

[ these]] are lovely, I bought them last month and they are so comfy as they have a squashy bit on ball of foot built in. And there is still 20% off with code BEFRIENDS I believe.

oops try this

They look super comfy Poodlehorse!

Mmm, possibly a bit informal for this event, but I am tempted anyway!

ireally - I do actually need something a bit 'county' for this event, as it is a very conservative group of people.

THanks for all those ideas Tethers. I particularly like the ones by 'south'.

The stripy nude is nice too.

I think the leopard skin would ruffle feathers! grin
