New boots - has there been a thread yet?

I need new smartish ones for work. Saw these ones in Hobbs

But they are £££ and am worried I won't wear them enough to justify!

The Boden classic stretch boots are cheaper (but not real leather) but look a bit clumpier...

Anyone else on the hunt for new boots already?

Nice boots smile

Will probably hold off buying a bit longer whilst agonising hundreds of different pairs.

I've tried various boots (not as £££ as yours) from Office, Fly and Next and have finally settled on a pair from Clarks. Think I'm getting old.

Those Hobbs ones are gorgeous...

Clarks or M&S are more my budget usually too! I am not planning on buying the Hobbs ones but am hoping someone can point me towards something similar but cheaper!

Have a discount code for Boden but still seems a lot for non-leather...

I would go for them
I'm a great believer in investing money in boots...I have about 5 pairs of knee length boots, costing about £200-£250 but have had them for between 2 and 5 years, they are still as new.
As I am a 9 with very narrow calves, my choice is small!
I'm off to Chiltern ST tomorrow to buy some new ones.....the ones I've seen are £285shock

Jones did something similar last year but don't seem to do them anymore...

I like the Hobbs ones and I also believe that boots are an investment if you buy ones that you will want to wear for ages. Those ones look like a classic to me.

And yes, I'm looking for new boots already. I want some calf-length, bit of a heel but not too much, not lace-up and not a wedge. Essentially, I want these but the biggest size is too small for me sad so I'm looking for a lookey-likey pair.

I got a pair almost the same in Duo last year but they were only £145 - I love them!

I am thinking about getting these for casual wear:

Ooh thanks NewChoos. The first pair you linked to are a possibility. Maybe a trip to London is needed...

They have narrow ankles, the Duo Bay boot. If you are heifer-ish like moi, be warned.
