Decent pore minimiser

First post in S&B and I'm hoping there are some ladies out there who can help me.

I have very large pores (you could go pot-holing down some of them!) and I need a decent pore minimiser that isn't going to cost me and arm and a leg.

I have dry/sensitive skin.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I also have dry/sensitive skin and I use the benefit one. It goes on under makeup, is really silky when it goes on etc but it doesn't hide the pores entirely, I don't think any of them do though!

Are you cleansing/moisturising properly? Harsh ones can make the pores bigger.

NOT the Clinique one. Made my skin flare up.

I'm using a gentle tea tree facial scrub every morning. Currently using Nivea Daily Essentials moisturiser during the day and their classic creme at night. I do two face masks a week, 1 deep cleansing and an olive oil moisturising one.

Oh I use clinique Pore Minimizer and quite like it. I brought it from strawberrynet so a bit cheaper then it would be usually.

My experience is the same as snakes with the benefit one - goes on silky and doesn't hide them perfectly. But its still better then nothing imo. And the small tube has lasted me about 8 months now.

Mega pores here, so much that an ex-DP actually asked me what are those holes on your face. I have given up trying to fix them butI think a decent skin care routine can help a bit. I had regular microdermabrasion for a while which was great in terms of general skin condition but I can't be bothered or afford to keep going indefinitely just for that - I am less bothered how I look now I am a mum! Find Paula Begoun's website & read her stuff on open pores. I use her BHA product which works better than an AHA product for keeping pores unclogged.

The best disguiser I have found is Pores No More by an american company. Expensive but makes a great base & doesn't seem to clog.

Hi Dignity

I've used both the Clinique and the Benefit ones, and they're both quite good IME.

I've stuck with the Benefit one recently, because it's smoother going on, never cakes at all, and disguises the pores just as well.
