Anyone got these top shop boots?

these ones, i was debating buying thewm as i had some fly london mol and had to sell them on as my sporty calves could hardly get in them especially if tried to wear over jeans. I am therefore wanting to know how high these are in comparison and if made generously for sporty calves.

Nope sorry, but I like 'em - very cosy and the fold down looks like it would avoid the sportiest part of the calf, no?

noyouhavehadawee Thu 15-Sep-11 17:36:09

i wonder if they are cosy right down as i have also found myself looking at some kind of snow boots blush

tiddleypompom Thu 15-Sep-11 17:42:22

Mm, snow boots... Yep me too. They are on my list this winter, and my excuse is that I will have a small baby and aren't allowed to slip (but the truth is that I just want them). The inside soles won't be cosy I don't suppose which may mean thick socks, which may mean more padding. Hmm. Difficult. How about an insole and (whispers) rubber soles?

have you seen any acceptable ones? i was just looking at the merrino ones but lack the £120 ! i do want warm to my toes though!

noyouhavehadawee Thu 15-Sep-11 18:07:42

tempting or will i look like gran?

tiddleypompom Thu 15-Sep-11 20:14:22

Well they are a bargain in comparison with the £120 ones! Uggs have some and so do Boden, but again all a bit ££££. Not granny like...maybe they'd wear in well. Christ, these are for crappy snowy weather - they'll get wrecked 'worn in' soon enough...

i just ordered the the top shop oneys and will wait a few weeks before i decide if i need snowy ones grin

AgentProvocateur Thu 15-Sep-11 21:15:54

I love the top shop ones. When you get them, will you measure the circumference (is that the word?) for me, please? I have rugby player's calves. sad

tiddleypompom Thu 15-Sep-11 21:46:26

Well done, good choice. They are very different an animal to the snowy ones and I for one would not think you unreasonable for needing both pairs.. After all, snow gets everywhere and, um, your topshop ones are really for the autumn collection.. Hell, they're £20, get 'em in..

Thanks for your approval grin. When they arrive i will put my calf circimfrance on the www for the whole world to judge me and will tell you if they fit then list them back on ebay if they dont! smile

Always happy to be of service grin

Happy stomping...

I have just bought them too, with the same concerns! The cheeky bugger put the price up between me watching them at 2pm, and buying them when I got back from the school run! They cost me £30!
They look lovely! Can't wait for them to arrive!

noyouhavehadawee Fri 16-Sep-11 18:47:59

ooo im hoping mine will arrive tomorow - i was stood in the playground today in my canvass converse freezing my little toes off. Not impressed with the sudden weather change.

tummytickler Sat 17-Sep-11 14:55:12

Have your boots arrived yet?
I am really cross, when I started watching them they were £26.99, when I bought them after the school run, they had gone up to £29.99, and now they have gone down to £23.99!!!! I have sent her an email, as I think that is pretty damn cheeky! I might start a AIBU!
She has good feedback though.

sowrong Sat 17-Sep-11 15:33:46

They look good but I'm worried that they haven't included a 'non turned down ' photo. Does it mean that there's a flaw?

Byeckerslike Sat 17-Sep-11 15:37:52

Watching this thread as i have those exact boots in my watch list smile

Moodykat Sat 17-Sep-11 16:26:35

Oh my fucking god. Thank you for this thread! Those are the embodiment of everything I have been looking for in a boot! Please let us know whether they are suitable for the chunkier of calf!
Now just have to wait until DH gets paid next week!

I bloody love S & B!

ChablisLover Sat 17-Sep-11 16:39:04

Love them. Are now on my eBay watch list?

tummytickler Sun 18-Sep-11 01:26:39

My boots haven't arrived yet, but i just got an email from her saying the circumferance of the boot is 42cm, height folded is 31cm, and unfolded 43cm! Can't wait for them to arrive!

Might have to get some, but what colour, I need black boots, but the leather looks lovely on the brown

The feedback for the ones already sold is good, decisions decisions!

noyouhavehadawee Sun 18-Sep-11 11:10:24

You know what they havent arrived yet but im a bit peed off now because i was watching for £23.99 and said to dh to buy them as he had the ocmputer and was scannig the watched items, now just gone into my paypal and seen he has paid £30! I have just emailed and asked to cancel if not already sent . [pissed of face]

AgentProvocateur Sun 18-Sep-11 11:19:04

When I looked, they were £23.99 with £6 delivery - could that be why they're £30? I think I might order them today, if I can find a measuring tape for my legs!

noyouhavehadawee Sun 18-Sep-11 11:22:40

no he has actuaaly paid £36.50 in total with p and p grrrrrrrrrrrrr

ChablisLover Sun 18-Sep-11 11:41:33

There are 2 sellers selling the same boots. The ones linked are still 23.99 the other seller is selling them for 32 plus 4 p&p.
Did u buy them from the right seller.

I bought the black last night. Now thinking the brown could be nice too
